AFK teammates. People quitting. Feeding on purpose. Hell, sometimes I try to find just bad matches but even that is difficult. People aren't very interested in uploading bad replays on youtube I guess? I'm trying to improve but finding bad matches to see how pros handle those situations and how do they still win is making me feel like I'm trying to find a unicorn.

Did you actually adviced players to pick visage and meepo in order to climb? Those are high complexity heroes. For example almost none of advices apply to low rank players. Let me share something with you: High rank players won't be here to watch your video. Guaranteed. Your advices are spot on, but applies to high rank players which will never google for this kind of videos. Maybe focus more w advices towards people need them most. Low rank players .

I used to play it in 2019. Visage was fun in lower rankings. Few people actually knew what he is capable of, since he was not so popular. Play him mid, deal with teammates whining about you "going mid with a support against Pudge", and see the magic happen at lv 6 lol

Update since facets were released. The skill build in this video is obsolete. It says to not take the nuke until level 5, but you now always need to take it at level 1. Get first blood with it and you have more gold than an alch with seed money.

Nowadays it's hard to win a game even how good you are it's a team effort now The solution change the ranking system from win system to points system you will get mmr not only by winning but also from your overall performance. MVP, Rampages, ultrakill, firstblood, etc. In win system even you get rampage all your effort is wasted if you lose.

I was a 3k mmr play. Now im stuck at 1.5k. Because of super team focus gameplay. i end up with really cancer teammates. basically cant play solo rank. i play mid. either supps are really bad. or carry fail. or offlaner fail like something always happens.

Before I watch I will comment, no one will read this but anyway... -I have 43/44% win rate -what I noticed is that if I am not mid I lose 8 out of 10 games -I don't have any friends, I play solo, and you can't make 4 other randoms listen to you or play as a team. Some people waste time in the game, others are testing heroes in ranked for some reason, etc -no matter how hard I try, I can't win alone -I have almost 1k games and I will never get out of Herald, in 20 games I have 13 wins and 7 losses, the next 20 games are 7 wins and 13 losses -not that I am the best player, but when we pick I always try to get a counterhero for theirs on the lane and get some situational items depending on the match, most people just start Dota with Axe in mind and that's what they pick no matter the draft -I lost half of my games, because when we kill them in a team fight, my team starts farming neutrals, afk in shop, doing pointless shit instead of pushing the lanes, and when they win a fight they take 2 towers. I have lost countless games where we beat them 70 kills to 25 BECAUSE THEY PUSH. -I like the game, I have played a lot of Frozen Throne, but after 950 hours and almost 1k games I have 0 progress, and for me the point of doing something is seeing the progress you are making over time. In this case the rank is the measurement for progress and its always herald 3- herald 5

As someone that climbed from <1000MMR to 1800, here is what helped me:- Figure out what role works for you! I spent countless hours playing whatever was needed by the team. This gave me a lot of knowledge but no expertise in any of the role. Then I thought I loved the pos3 playstyle, so I started playing offlane. I kept on dying as pos3 and shifted to pos4, never been more happy. Dying less, contributing to team fights and making an impact. I’ve realized that pos5 was too dependent on others, whereas pos4 can still do something mid-late game. Obviously this is <2k bracket, so this wouldn’t apply to majority player base, but it might help a few.

I disagree on one thing. You can actually impact the game as a support, I do that constantly now. I snowball the game so hard, enabling my newbie cores to snowball regardless of what's going on. But there is a problem: not all heroes can do that and you have to be a very good player to do that. Pos 5 is the trickiest in the game in my opinion, because you have to know the heroes extremely well and all the mechanics and timings.
