You know *coming from a robin main since smash 4 and its not to say that there aren't any good robin montages for ulltimate* But its so nice to see these rare high quality ones with people who actually play the character alongside doing shit that I've never seen before blowing my god damn mind Especially these two clips at 1:32 and afterwards 1:40 literally made me say out loud *WHAT THE FUCK?!* This shit right here is godtier and you should definitely congratulate yourself for not only making,but releasing such awe inspiring beauty on youtube This the stuff that upon viewing immediately makes me sub to whatever account warranting it Also *to close this out* 1-What's ur twitch name? 2-Regarding this setup here at 0:13 Its something that I've seen *and got hit* before,but not like that variation especially after you get the footstool not short hopping Is that the best version when going for something like that and is it better to do with either the book or bronze levin sword? Nonetheless great video
Twitch.tv/IndigoDancer is my twitch. I don’t stream often as much as I used to because of college but I might eventually during the summer or the coming months. The set up for arcfire footstool discard toss down Thoron is a bit tricky to lab. The threshold will usually be around 70-100% depending on character. Buffering a dash can help you close distance for the footstool if you’re having trouble, as it will let you act out immediately. Press the jump button for the footstool briefly to get a short hop off your opponent’s head and then throw the item down and fastfall thoron to the side you started on. It works with both items but generally levin sword will start working sooner and books will keep working for later %s as it has less knockback and is more difficult to di to get out of thoron. Generally the set up can work out of the arcfire immediately or if you catch them right when you rise as it puts them at the right height. It’s a great stock stealer with the biggest downside being it’s tight execution and having to land arcfire to start it with range to get the footstool and book in hand. Also, don’t try it with a platform in the way as the item will get caught and not hit the opponent. If wanting to practice it, use FD or the training mode stage to practice.
