In this game , I played a 1500 elo chess player on chess.com, I got an accuraccy of 77 and an elo rating of 1550. the openingof this game was really straightforward until I made on a blunder on the 8th move of the game and lost my rook.
The turning point of this game was when the g file was open and I gave my opponent a check and he responded with King to h1, and then I played my queen to e6, threaaning to checkmate him, he then responded with knight to g1 which was a mistake and stockfish engine evaluated this position to be equal because on my next move, I sacrificed my roook, and this got a brilliant move, I think this was my best rook sacrifice.

If I could see the full board I couldve made something for what if King doesnt take but whatever bruh If king takes it's 1.Qc7+ Kd4 loses to Qc6# so Ke6 2.Ng5+ and You have the option to take the queen and there's no need to calculate further cuz King in center is mostly checkmate

Good game for 1500 elo. A little tip in the opening: If we play london system, we play with c3, Nd2, Bd3, 0-0, and put perssure on e5 If the queen is on d6, you always have to get rid of Qb4 check.

I think it was possible to sac a move before right? like Rxg4 hxg4 Qxg4+ then Kh1 Rh5 any white move then any black move is checkmate right? theres also Rxg4 hxg4 Qxg4+ Kh2 Rh5 Qe3 Bg3+ Kg2 Qh4 and unstoppable mate next move with Qh2 or Qh1. I guess delaying the attack for a move like you did is a faster win tho
