      I polished the original ones on that came off the car, just use some metal polish.

      I didn't mess with the bumpers, original plan was to do euro bumpers, but decide to sell car to start on a new project.

    the only thing you would have done differently is to save the driver's seat, there are excellent professionals who would have brought it back to life, more expensive but it would have added value to the project... the engine would also certainly need updating but above all it is useful lower the set-up with sports suspension because this car has some problems changing direction

      Euro bumpers are pretty rare to find in US. Usually cost 1k+ USD. Maybe I’ll get an e24 in the future and modify it lol

    got a 635csi, did more or less the same Restoration as you did except the front seats. always love to see a uni black single stage black paint getting detailed, so satisifing😍 sadly the thing with the speakers in the door panels, but its the 80s😅

      Sure!! I started off with wet sanding the whole car with 3000 grit KXK sanding discs, then Rupes Coarse wool pad with Griots Fast Correcting Cream, then final polish with Rupes Yellow Foam pad and CarPro Essence Polish! These steps were required with the condition of the paint and final results were great!

      It depends, used Complete motors can be $5k+, or a new block which was just in the box in the beginning is around $2k.

      Thanks man! I have another video where I take apart and get the window motors working again in this car. I was also unsure at first how to remove the door panel since this was my first E24. Usually I just go to realoem.com and they have blow up diagrams of part in the vehicle where it show how everything goes together. Check it out!

      basic hand tools, torque wrenches, and torque angle tools are needed, feeler gauges for valve clearance, and specialty tools for the seals can be found at Company23's website!

HA HA. you just solved a huge problem I had with another car im working on....and by working on I am not anyone that knows how to do much but Im going to attempt.       I paid cash for the car, lol, do you mean how much did i pay for the car? the cost of the car varies depending on the condition of the car. the cost of restoring also varies depending on how deep of a restoration you want to do. All in i think it cost less than $6000 including the car.

    Quite enjoyable to watch! Curious why you went with the OEM oil pickup and baffle? With it being a weak spot in the factory setup, i figured a fresh rebuild would be the ideal time to do a Killer B pickup and baffle or IAGs.

      Since the entire car is going back to all stock, and up to the new owner if they want to modify the engine. It didn't seem worth it for me to spend the money on those upgrades. For a daily driver OEM is perfectly fine, if you start to track the car or go higher power then yeah Killer B is a great option. 👍

    I require some assistance if you could please help ..I recently bought a 1977 633 CSI BMW and the passenger door mirror did not work electrically and when i removed the mirror it just had bare wires with no plug so i bought a replacement mirror which has the plug but i am struggling to find out how to pass the plug inside the door to connect to the other connection as the old mirror pulled out easily because it was just bare wires

      I didn't have to remove the mirrors on mine, there may be a video or forum post out there on how to do it. I no longer have the 633 unfortunately. =[

    Its a pity you could not tell us what cleaning and polishing products you used on the car
