Stasis Low V13, First Ascent
มุมมอง 4.8K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
In Jan 2022 I made the FA of Stasis, near the Kraft boulders in Red Rock, NV. I did it in a quick session and moved on to other things. While trying it though, I noticed a possible low start from down and left in the cave. In the spring of 2023, I returned to give it some goes. This video shows the process of working out and sending the full line. Cheers to @madrockclimbing for the support
Severed Arm, 2nd ascent

My hardest of 2023. A really nice line on some choice stone. 14 or so days of effort over 5 months, very psyched. Supported by @madrockclimbing
The Beekeeper, First ascent
มุมมอง 9K10 หลายเดือนก่อน
30 years ago Joey Henson found this roof hidden deep in the NC backwoods. I looked for it a few times, but it seemed like the forest may have swallowed it back up. With some subpar directions and a very wrong pin, Aaron Parlier re-found the boulder. He went to work cleaning, which turned out to be a multi-day endeavor. It took more days of brushing than climbing to bring this one to life. Grate...

V17 Project? The sit start to Moonlight Sonata V16
มุมมอง 17Kปีที่แล้ว
I climbed the first ascent of Moonlight Sonata V16 in Oct 2021. It took me three years of effort to finally finish it off. After a small hiatus, I'm back to try the full line, the low start. Moonlight FA: th-cam.com/video/rr5OgcE9Ny0/w-d-xo.html Supported by @madrockclimbing

Two flash attempts with Rockentry
มุมมอง 10Kปีที่แล้ว
Ozzy Zuniga (@rockentry) recently climbed his hardest boulder problem yet, Ride the White Horse, V10. With his help and the beta he learned from trying the boulder for many days, I attempt to flash it. We also collaborated on a video on sleepwalker which you can find on his channel. Really sweet moves on this one.
dude that thing looks impossible from the ground, nice work, homie.
Thanks dude! It was really tricky
There’s no WAY this isn’t V14. Looks incredible though and I want to try it! Good job!
it could be harder? We'll see what ppl think when it gets repeated. You gotta try tho, you'll like it!
So excited to start bouldering out west. Moving to Colorado soon. Do you recommend any specific guide books?
Great first ascent and super insightful about the beta changes. Great watch as always. Do you know who screamed "Nooo!!!" when you were topping out the last boulder?
not sure, but twig would be a good guess
so dope
Always a plane on the send go. Always.
Really great watch! It's awesome seeing the process.
Glad you liked it!
Love the style of the video! Thanks for sharing and sick send!
Much appreciated!
Haircut is looking fresh homie
Such a sick sequence!! From my armchair this looks suspiciously like V13 but either way its a banger. Great job👍
It was really challenging to figure out a sequence, but not as difficult to actually put it together. We’ll see where the grade lands 🤷🏼♂️
Looks dope!
Thanks dood!!
Easily one of the coolest sequences I've ever seen on a boulder.
Was so challenging to figure it out. Very tricky one
"a handful of times" is an excellent pun.

sick boulder and I love that spotter. Funny that you all are the NC legends of rock climbing now. Just puting your names in the history books one boulder at a time.
Really sick video
awesome climb. does this process make you want to try the lower start to moonlight sonata more, or not really?
Lol is that the ideal climbing diet?
Just kidding. Awesome job again. Super pumped to check out these climbing spots in the future.
Nice send! It would awesome if the problem went for another 10, 15 feet. But I always think that🤷🏻♂️
love the style and insane climbing.
More donut content it's what the people want
Dude I really think a pastry review should start every project video. Nice send!

@@alexantone5532 Wait what is this description for then? "My hardest of 2023. [...]14 or so days of effort over 5 months, very psyched." The guy sent v15 v16(?) I doubt it would take him 14 days to send a v6?

The most beautiful V6 I've seen.
Such a cool line!!
So sick! Boone kept ya busy lol
