The Fall Garden is Thriving Off Grid in the High Desert | New Trees Planted
มุมมอง 14228 วันที่ผ่านมา
The seasons are changing in the High desert and temperatures are averaging 80's for highs and 50's for the lows so the garden is loving the cool down. I was able to plant Mondell pines, Green giants and Weeping willow also a southern live oak tree and a few Italian cypress trees. #offgridlife

The Desert Rated Jeep for Off Grid Desert Life | The 2021 Jeep Gladiator Mojave
มุมมอง 1182 หลายเดือนก่อน
After some big setbacks in July with my Jeep Trailhawks I had to get a used 2000 Honda Passport that I had to drive to San Antonio to get my daughter and it broke down 2 and half hours outside of San Antonio. Long story short I came back to the homestead with the right vehicle after spending the night on the side of the highway waiting on a tow truck and going for broke trying to get back home.

July Cool Down In The Desert Does A Garden Good | Off Grid Gardening
มุมมอง 1993 หลายเดือนก่อน
The heat wave ended in July with much cooler temperatures because of the monsoon season which is in full effect this year. It looks like it will rain most days but it doesn’t most of the time but at least it keeps the temperatures down which is great for the garden! #homesteading #desertgardening #offgridlife #gardening
The Most Important Skill To Learn Living Off The Grid | Summer 2024 Garden

There's a lot of skills you will learn living off the grid and they are all important but the one skill I feel is necessary is learning how to grow your own food. you should try making a small hoop house for growing foods out of pvc and peices of rebar you can find a tutorial on youtube about how it's done it's pretty simple and they work great.
@@dont_crossarline1033 that’s one of my next projects for the garden!!
Check the dogs ear it might have a tick or a small wound because of how he's shaking it.
Ty for sharing your morning and giving us an update...I'm looking to do the same but on a smaller scale, maybe 5-10 acres...your channel helps alot to get an idea on what to expect...enjoy the game 🏈...
You watching the game?
@@ajc3566 yep!! I missed the first half but it looks like they have things under control lol
@ Leee Gooo!
Can you go live tonight while there’s a full moon
What’s up brotha! How do you get power out there? Do you see any wild life? I want to get some acres next year for camping.
@@ajc3566 I use a solar power station Ecoflow Delta 2 with a 330 watt solar panel backed up with a gas generator
@ Do you have a video explaining your power station and how long it last with and without the generator? This channel is definitely helping.
Hello. Keep going. You got this 🙏🏽
Hudspeth County is no joke. Sierra Blanca has no grocery stores. Only a couple of gas stations. It is isolated, and the climate can be brutal. Respect!

Start piling rocks and sticks to create your own beaver damn and slow/block the flow as much as you can.

Ig I just found the answer to my previous question. Lol. Is it expensive?
@@reneethomas2901 my water bill normally runs no more than $40 and that’s hauling 300 gallons at a time. It was a $400 setup fee though
@offthegridwithrashad that's not bad at all. Thanks
Where are you getting your water from?
Congratulations ‼️ 🎉 i hope to make it my dream come true someday soon myself.
Hola quisiera saber cómo aplicar para el trabajo?
Greetings, if you dont mind me asking, 87 acres? thats alot of desert! do you plan on selling smaller plots? Do you collect rain water? a must if you wanna grow anything out there. Whats the annual rainfll where you are? Good luck from the Great Sioux Nation in S.Dakota need your solar up that will give you more foundation also ( starlink??) Good luck. Ohan Mitakuyaoyasin ( we are all related)
@@wesleyBringsOtter that’s a lot of questions lol yes once my land is fully paid off I will subdivide and sell smaller plots and I do collect rainwater as much as I can and right now I use the ecoflow delta 2 with solar and a backup generator for power
