Tell me 10 years ago that I would one day think a new hope is a weak link in the star wars films I would not believe it. I might think it’s the worst film of them all. Still, I love it! But yeah I don’t think it’s that well made of a film.

    Of course they get the lore wrong, the planet is healing because of the destruction of a dark side entity or curse (I forget which) it was destroyed by Vader when he attempted to resurrect padme and failed. It’s. Or healing because of the destruction of Vader castle so if your going to complain at least be right about what your saying.

    • @Brosowski
      @Brosowski 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@aaronmckinney2583 It's not abrupt. The movies did a great job with what they had to show about Anakin turning to the Dark Side. Palpatine's manipulation was done very well but people just don't know how to put themselves into someone's shoes. To us Palpatine was evil but to Anakin Palpatine was a friend, mentor, and a grandfather figure. Honestly, just Revenge of the Sith alone is good enough to show the manipulation. Clone Wars helps a lot but it isn't necessarily needed to explain it. It's just for added context and entertainment.

    • @aaronmckinney2583
      @aaronmckinney2583 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Brosowski They did not do a "great job." I love the pequals but let's not pretend that the dialog isn't very poorly written, cuz it is. There's a reason the prequals were hated on until clone wars went mainstream

    • @Brosowski
      @Brosowski 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@aaronmckinney2583 I am not talking about them doing a great job with everything. With the Anakin and Palpatine stuff, they did great. With explaining Anakin's fall to the dark side, they did it great. With explaining the fall of the Jedi they did great. The Dialogue and Writing is actually underrated imo but just not done effectively. That is why I think the problem was the Direction from George Lucas. But, the flaws of the Prequels along with the amazing stuff makes it pure Star Wars imo. As a TH-camr once said, "The Prequel Trilogy is Star Wars in its purest form."

      The force doesn’t work like that. It’s not a pool that you have to regenerate. The obvious answer is that “force speed” is a revised CGI edit and George Lucas didn’t think about the plot hole it created.

    • @blankiepoo
      @blankiepoo 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@dylanbeal7016 I mean this can't be true. Otherwise jedi or sith would never struggle for anything. So like when something is heavy there wouldn't be a strain because if they can just keep using the force then they wouldn't have a limitation on how long they could do something. Now there may be something they might not be able to push or move because htey dont have a strong enough connection to the force but if there is no endurance limiter then most things don't make sense as they could just keep force pushing.

Based on what you said, it’s safe to assume you have a narrow understanding about VFX’s, which goes back to what I said about thinking you know what you’re talking about, when you really don’t. You’ve completely misunderstood what they’ve said about how they used practical effects in the movie.
