Lab player should have triggered Daruma Canon during battlephase tbh, it will force you to skip the battlephase and gives him one more turn to deal with the burn and get rid of Mirrorjade since it no longer has the boardwipe floating effect.

i think your timing when activating welcome and big welcome when you have the field spell on the field is a little off. Isn't it better to wait so you can use the destruction effect on one of your opponent's cards?
