I can't get over how similar our taste is -- I have quite a few of those and want most of the ones I don't have! Crocuses on the Windowsill was a really enjoyable stitch. Be careful with the windows -- there are full and half stitches in the same color (or something like that -- it's been a while!) Instead of doing one symbol and then doing the other, I could have done it all at once. I left them until the end and than spent months procrastinating instead of finishing. The SAL prize is Bolshoi Theatre -- That SAL is why I put Stitching Lessons aside and started First Evening in Their Own Home. The cats wtih books and clock are much less fiddly than you'd expect. I'm probably halfway through mine.

Collecting Dimensions is definitely a hobby all its own -- I haunt the thrift stores looking for that familiar logo. I started Stitching Lessons years ago and set it aside because there was a SAL I was obsessing over at the time. I really need to pull it back out. Thanks for jarring my memory! Love An Elegant Affair -- that's one I haven't seen before. Like you, I keep collecting crewel kits and haven't decided yet if I like stitching them.

Love seeing what you are working on and your collection of Riolis kits. I am working on the new kit Autumn Train by Riolis. It is using the yarn type thread. It is an autumn piece.

Shame on you for making such a video!!! Now I feel like I must fetch all my Riolis kits and wips and order some new ones, too!!! lol. ❤❤❤ I think that the next kit I would like to start is called Orange Mood. It is a blackwork kit and gosh, looks amazing!!! 🤩

Great Riolis collection, Morgan! Your finish is lovely!! I have stitched the Lilies of the Valley and have started the Funny Rabbits and the Hedgehogs and Ligonberries. I need to pull those back out and put some stitches in them. I also have an apple design which I have started. The wool acrylic is fun to work with; I enjoy it! You have a great assortment of charts Megan. Thanks for showing us. Late to this video but I have just subscribed. I did exclusively cross stitch from 1995 to 2015. Then I started quilting and only stitched intermittently. But back in the day I did Angel of Spring for my Mom and Angel of the Sea for my sister. You are right about Marilyn's ribbons. Very prevalent on both of those charts.

Loved your video! That DMC Diamant color is 301. I’ve worked with these before, not a fan for embroidery but cross stitch may be ok. The problem is the thread separates very easily. Congrats on your new home, can’t wait to see your new sewing room all prettied up! Woo-hoo!!! 🎉

I love Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum and have stitched several. I found that if I take the pattern to an office supply store I can get it enlarged (easier on the eyes) and then I use a highlighter to color in my progress. Happy stitching!

I just started my first ever Mirabilia/Nora Corbett on June 1st, and it is June’s Pearl Fairy. The floss colors are even prettier than the picture! I also picked up (but have not started yet) Lady Justice. She’s gorgeous, too!

Thanks for sharing your collection of the late Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum's work. I once owned several of her patterns but gave them away with the exception of "Lady of the Thread" before I fully appreciated the value of my collection. I could kick myself but learned my lesson to always research the contents of my older inventory before I do a purge. My one ask, if you should do another similar parade - is to please not move the items so quickly and up and down on an unsteady surface with a distracting cover. I know I am asking a lot - sorry, but I was getting a little dizzy and had to stop the video for a few seconds throughout. Thanks!

The cost at the time of release to the cost of old or out of print on easy is surprising. Great investment!

I have been doing these Mirabilia/ Nora Corbet patterns for a while now. The threads and stuff do cost a bit but you eventually build up such a stash of DMC threads and beads and such like that when I check my stash I often find I only have to buy a few of the items I need. Something for you to,look forward too. Hope it helps.

I have had Winter Queen as a very old UFO for well over 20 years. I did change her dress colour to light lilac instead of light blue. So obviously 2 of the bead colours I had to change as well. Maybe I will get back into stitching on her eventually. I did finish Autumn Queen though. She was fun to stitch.
