This was a great trip for our family (we were here with like 6 other families). Beach was definitely great and restored my hope in Cancún after the disaster that was Paradisus Cancún.

We were on the backside of the hotel facing the road so it wasn't spectacular but saw a few other high rises. However, if you ask for a room facing the bay then your view should be amazing!

Yes. We had some issues with noise the first night but I requested they move us and it was much better further away.

Yes! There is both! We primarily try to use the stairs when traveling unless we are in a corner far from them.

Hi Karen! It's been a couple of years since our visit so keep that mind (things may have changed), but we are generally light sleepers so for us most hotel/resort walls are thin 🤣. The only place we ever get good night's sleep is the Maldives in the villas. However, other than the construction that was happening in 2022 which caused me to make the resort move our room, I do not particularly remember being woken up. As far as the Bali beds, there was 'covered cabanas' but they only had regular lounge chairs under them. They were near the wooden board walk from the pool to the beach.

Hello, unfortunately my wife and I do not drink wine or champagne so I am unable to answer this question. However, my understanding is that they do have a wide variety.

I hope you enjoy your trip! I've always had luck just asking during check in, but if you want to be sure you get one ahead of time I would just contact the resort and make the request. They are usually quite accommodating!

Hello! Apologies for not being able to answer this completely however I believe they are regular and not low or sugar free. I only drink Coca-Cola and it was not the diet or zero sugar variety! I hope that helps!

Hello! Based on my recollection it does have a stocked mini fridge but we don't consume any of those items as we generally don't drink alcohol and otherwise drink plenty of water when vacationing.

Yes, it's not far. My wife and I actually took a 30 minute walk down the beach to RIU Palace Bavaro one evening.

Hello! I can't find any information regarding a remodel since May although they were doing some construction at the beginning of the jetty when we were there. The rooms seemed well appointed and in great condition so I would venture to say this was after the remodel.

Hello! Yes, per our concierge all restaurants and sports activities were included. Private dinners, etc. would be additional though.

Unfortunately we did not check the sofa in the living area as there were just two of us but this is something I will remember for the future! Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Hi there! It's not necessary adults only but RIU Palace Bavaro had a pretty lively night life and pool party area. That's the best resort we've been to in Punta Cana personally speaking. I'm not into partying myself but I do remember that one being lively.

What were you looking to learn about the flight from a video? I do have a review on my site which goes into more detail of the food, etc. but it's a flight...there really isn't much going on. Happy to answer any questions you may have.

It had some good and some less than good but for the money we paid, it was fine. Pool area was great, rooms were not bad, but noise levels from workers and such were unacceptable. I still need to write my full review on my site, but be on the lookout for it.

One recommendation though, if you have sensitive feet, bring those rubber beach shoes with you!

Food is a 7 out of 10 but everyone is different so others may not agree with me. As far as activities, we don't usually do much on vacation so I can't comment on that but there is definitely stuff to do there.

Hi Rayray. It's probably 3 quarters of a mile if I had to eye ball it. In the heat, it would be a tough walk in my opinion.

It's definitely a bit of a hike if you walk but they have buggy service regularly, so you only have to wait 5-10 minutes when you want to go or come back. But it's definitely a downside to this resort for sure.

Yeah, I got the impression it wasn't their shiniest prized plane for sure :). But business class was still quite the experience compared to economy!

What did you fly on? My itinerary shows that it was a 777-300ER. But it looked to be one of their older 777s based on the interior.

It was initially $2K USD round trip (MIA to MLE via DXB) for us both in economy and then the one way upgrade from Miami to Dubai was an additional $2.5k USD.

Awesome! You will love it! We loved it so much that we moved here in March 2021. As long as you don't spend all day in the sun and take regular breaks in an AC environment it shouldn't be too bad! Evenings are absolutely perfect because of how warm they are! Have a great trip!
