I have to say I agree, especially since some kids who can't rely on support in their own home. Its unfortunate that the school system has become so shafted overtime
Agreed - it turned into relying on technology, thinking it will be easier for these kids and not giving them the life skills to manage these things.
I actually started training my children the same way I trained my dog !
Ah ha! Maybe that’s been my problem all along…
Wet your thumb and index finger in the misters. And it opens like magic
Thanks! Only question is do I want to lick my fingers after shopping around a grocery store?
I have Bobs name! BobbyAudio!
HAHA, Football and poker!!
I try to go easy on the restaurant industry- we spend a lot of our monthly budget on them. But, why are they making it so easy for me to never go back?????
Oh I definitely need some more stories…we just talk!!!! 😂
I remember the pick-up truck and 18-wheeler story quite well!!! Good luck with ‘this one’ James. If you ever need any Capo stories… let me know!!! 😂Hahaha
My thought is the machine she was on was maybe not working correctly. Like a shopping cart not working. She probably just needed to move to something that was working better. It clearly wasn’t Bob….
make merch!! i want a sticker
I am subscribed!!!!
Beautiful love u.
Really good episode. Two of my biggest pet peeves about traveling are the reclining seat issue and fighting for overhead storage. If people would follow the instructions and put smaller items under their seats there would be more room for actual luggage. Perhaps if airlines would take better care of bags and not lose them people might be ok checking them. And if they didn't nickel and dime you to death with baggage fees this would also help. But, what aggravates me the most is when they force you to check your carryon bag and when you get on the plane you discover that there was plenty of room for your bag!
Outstanding. A must watch video for marketing managers
Thanks, guys. Good advice. Let me also add a recommended resource for developing presentation content: "Strategic Storytelling" by Dave McKinsey (also a friend of SLN).
This is consistent with one of my most useful practices, which can be summarized as "co-opt the objectors."
Perhaps for your next show you should discuss the effects of receiving participation trophies as a child and how it impacts your future career. On second thought, I guess this episode just covered it.
Important topic!
I read an article on LinkedIn that suggested that meetings be conducted with a time clock which would allow presenters a certain amount to time to state their reports. In the age of lean startup methodology and agile development, I think there's credence to this point and in certain situations this might be worth serious consideration.
Make sure you watch through the closing credits people (that is, if you have a sense of humor). 👍🏻
Excellent Video. I couldn't agree more!! In fact, I think there is a direct relationship with the more people that are in the meeting the longer the meeting will go AND the less productive the meeting will be. That would be another interesting topic, what is the right number of people to have in a meeting to still be productive and have decisions be made. Now I am in suspense for next week to see if Bob decides to go solo for now on, or if he will talk about some of the annoying things that James does.
Yes Bob you are a critic but, make people think again, and question themselves. I miss having you around.
James, I like the purple!
Yay
