Birds custard?
I've worked on weighbridges around the Westmoreland for them and done part of there works car park many years ago in Smethwick.
Hi, that's really cool - thanks for sharing your story
Thanks this was really interesting. It's a good night out around Haworth.
Thanks for watching ☺️ yes it is a good night out - nice vibe 👌
Gud vid
Thanks
Cool!
Yeah I thought so too
Brave lady 😬🫣
😬 thanks
What a superb production and presentation. Hebden looked great in the Pennine rain, but do come back on a sunny day, it then becomes sublime.
Thank you so much, yes I'd love to come back in the sun, maybe one day 🙏😃
Jeez, that static made me jump with headphones on @ the end effective 😅 lol. Didn't know all that thanks. I wouldn't walk through there on my own haha x
Haha sorry - had to be done though so you could all feel the same level of fear as me 😅 to be honest, I've asked if I'll go back at night and film - not sure on that one - not feeling THAT brave.....thanks for watching Jenny x
I actually remembered the premiere
Yay! Thank you
That was a really amazing video. Lionel Fanthorpe, that takes me back, I used to watch a TV show he hosted. Wolfman with Anthony Hopkins was partly filmed at Chatsworth. At the end they burnt it , CGI. Very respectful moments in the video
@@daveb3007 thanks - glad you enjoyed it - I didnt know that about Chatsworth 😳 interesting
Down around the harbour there used to b a fab restaurant but its been 24 yrs since I was last there I adored puerto Rico the huge choice of restaurants in the centre was terrific it is very very dry heat we also stayed up the top and the steps were awful to come back up we got a taxi there was a great pitch n put course and a bakery almost opposite the bottom of the steps we went there really early for Danish pastry best iv ever had n then to the water park we also went out for a day trip on a catamaran n saw sea turtles the lunch included and prices were very good you have put me in the mood for a trip back thankyou for your video I thoroughly enjoyed it ❤❤
Hi Heather, firstly wow what a lovely comment - thank you so much for watching the video, I'm glad it brought back some fond memories. I hope you do manage a trip back there sometimes xx
Unless you get eaten by a werewolf
Maybe I got bitten....and now I'm the werewolf 😳😆
I'm a Lancastrian living just over the border and a 20 mins drive to Hebden Bridge. We go there quite often as it's a favourite place for any visitors I have staying with me. We're never disappointed and certainly do better with the weather than you did!! Never come home empty-handed either as there's always something you feel you must buy from one of the wonderful artisan shops. Love the very bones of the place. Thank you for a very informative video. On your next visit the shortish walk along the canal towards Todmorden for lunch at the Stubbing Wharf is highly recommended. This pub was washed out during the floods a few years ago uniquely situated as it is between the higher level canal above and the river below. It was out of commission for well over a year and has been restored to a high spec. Good parking too. Looking forward to your next video.
Hi thanks for the tip, I will certainly add that to my 'must visit' list when back in the area 😃 thanks for watching and pleased you enjoyed the video x
What month did you go to Gran Canaria please
May 🌞
Just wanna add that it was not just because of him, He had a significant impact yes, but Bletchley park he over 10,000 working there at the height of the war.
Yes of course, thanks for adding that in - teamwork for sure ❤️
Hi Claire..😘 X Love Your stories, and history.😉 ! Your accent is infectious 😆! Just Love ALL of You..🤩! Thanks.! Have a lovely evening, and a wonderful weekend.!!! Love Ez.😉X Pembrokeshire.Wales.
Hi Ez, aw thats lovely to hear - thank you 🥰 hope you're well - have a good weekend 😀
Spice central
Yeah so I'm told 😬
Love your posts, so informative and interesting.
Thank you so much 😃
Determined to watch live and still forgot! Very interesting. Thank you for posting
😆😆 no worries - thanks for watching anytime is appreciated
For me it’s the little independent shops and the very friendly people, plus the fact that most shops are dog friendly too, that make it very special, only 20 minutes from where I live, we go there and to Haworth often, proper Yorkshire ❤
❤️ I also love Haworth - some amazing places in Yorkshire ❤️
Clause 28. I remember demonstrating against that law that forbid homosexuality. Under Thatcher? I do not know when it was abolished.
My great gran was a codebreaker at Bletchley during WW2
Omg that is such an amazing story ❤️ thanks for sharing with us x
It still has its cinema, which nearby Todmorden does not. I used to be a relief projectionist at another council owned cinema, the 68 seat David Lean Cinema in Croydon. Hebden Bridge is also said to be the most lesbian friendly town in Britain. You mentioned the closure of the old industries and the cheap property prices which attracted the artists, hippies etc. But Hebden Bridge has a darker side to its past. From 1939 to about 1970 Cape processed asbestos at Acre Mill on the hill above the town, and for many years after the mill closed the area was a hotspot for asbestos related disease. A sad time in the history of what is now such a nice town. Soon after Acre Mill closed two television programmes were made about it and the people who worked there, ‘The Dust at Acre Mill’ and ‘Alice - Fight for Life’. Both are on TH-cam.
Hi, this is really interesting - thank you so much for watching my video and sharing your input It's certainly an area with a lot of history, I'd not heard about the asbestos - that is very sad 😥
You look like you had a good time. That spar is a delight, and there is another one up the top, but smaller. I think you'd have enjoyed it more staying up the top, on the opposite side. You don't hear music, not even from the other center. X planet to me is very over priced and over rated. Lots of places for good steaks at much better prices. If you do return, look into places higher up and not near the main center.
Thanks for watching and for your tips - I'll be sure to remember them if I ever return to the area 😊
I saw Hale Bopp in Monterey California over the ocean - it was life changing, like touching the universe. It must have been just as incredible to see it in the mysterious Moors.
Yes I imagine it was ✨️
Hello, I'm going to Manchester next week. I made an appointment on meet and greet t1 car park. Could you please reply in the comments section with full details? I will go to Manchester Airport for the first time.
Hi, how do you mean by 'full details'?
Really interesting as always
Thank you so much
Been looking forward to this. I’m visiting Covent Garden from the comfort of my home. Thanks for another great video
Thank you so much Simon - glad you enjoyed it 😀
On my bucket list when next up frpm Oz
Thanks for watching 🫶 have an awesome trip 😀
YES PLEASE I LOVE IT❤
👏👏👏❤️
Do not pat Grey friars Bobby. It vandalises it.
I'm sorry I didn't realise - I won't suggest it again 🙈 x
@@TheWanderlustWayisback I didn't know until recently when it was pointed out in a plead "Don't pat Bobby's nose". It harms the bronze. If one looks you can see the erosion and that is sad.

Love this place am here in September staying in cala nova we dont mind the music were party animals
Have an amazing time - thanks for watching the video x
What was the hotel you stayed in like I think it’s the same one iv booked for aug❤️🥰
Hi, it was the Altair apartments - theres a couple of videos of it on my channel x
Looks awesome
Thanks for watching 😃
They are only 2 mins apart ,
Sorry, what are only 2 mins apart?
Amadores- purto rico
Thank you so much, I'm glad it was helpful ☺️
I’m going in April with my daughter. Are the swimming pools deep?
Hi, if I remember rightly the main pool sloped down so started off shallow then went quite deep - I hope this helps x
Great video thanks for sharing
Thank you so much for watching x
Do these apartments have a lift
They do but not to all the floors we did have to carry suitcases up steps
Did you drive further up past Mogan Mall to the Mercadona supermarket? That’s where all the people who live there go as it’s a LOT cheaper for most things, but a bit of a walk if you’ve not got a car ….. they have EV charging (AC only I think) in the car park too but if like us you were given a plug in hybrid but not the charging cable it’s irrelevant. They had quite a few absolute bargains like Gin at under €6 where in the Super/HiperDino or Spar you’d be paying double that for the same thing (actually probably not as nice). Definitely worth going there if you have a car to stock up.
Brilliant thanks I didnt know that! That's a great tip for anyone watching this video ☺️ thank you so much
@@TheWanderlustWayisbackyou’re welcome. Also, those beer taps in the big Spar are real - I think there are empty bottles there you can fill up so you can buy ‘draft’ beer to take out. I didn’t try when we were there last year but we’re back next month so may give it a go then. Was good to see some of those menus again - Delilah’s is great for breakfast, the staff are lovely and it’s brilliant value, although why do all breakfast places have baked beans on every option 🤢, I always have to tell them if there’s even a hint of beans on mine I can’t touch the whole plate 😂
@@davepage1151 oh my goodness I'm starting to regret not looking into the beer pumps in more detail now!! haha - I should have known, judging by the fact that you could buy wine by the glass in the Spar supermarket too! That totally blew my mind as well 😂
Off to gran canary in August and of all the videos ive watched, yours in the best. Very informative and clear x
You've just made my day - thank you so much! Have a wonderful holiday x
Hi there which is better puerto rico or amadores please thank you.
Hi it depends what you want from your holiday? Amadores is quieter not as much there but the beach is stunning. Puerto Rico is very lively - but you can walk between the 2 if you want x
@@TheWanderlustWayisback thank you.
I book puerto rico can't wait not long now thanks.
@@yogigardener5219 have an amazing time 🌞
Thanks for this. It's on my bucket list if I'm ever able to get to the UK again. .. Getting old.
Thanks for watching! Hope you do manage to visit the UK and Hebden Bridge 🙏
