My heater will work in morning and will shut off. Once this happens it will not come on. I followed your voltage check and it appears to be the 5min timer delay. I get 24v on lower side but 0 on exit of it. I just ordered one and we will see if this is it.

I suggest you include a step to disconnnect the power first, particularly before you begin working near that large capacitor just above the pressure switch.

Have you ever removed a pressure switch and found out that someone had removed the schrader valve? Also, is there a way to test them before they are installed? Thanks!

it at least gives me a place to start. thank you very much. Just opened the pool and the heat pump "runs" (fan on) and heating light indicator says it's heating, but water coming out of the unit is not heated at all (last year it was bath-water warm). All other checks seem fine. 1year old pump so hope this is an easy fix. Thanks again for giving me a place to start my troubleshooting.

Hi, i have two problems with heat siphon units 1.- one system is runing for hours and can not reach more than 87 f, is a 40 sq/m pool using a z575 unit, pool is completely indoor, outside temp average is 15 degrees centigrades, 10 by night 18 to 20 by day, what do i have to do ? 2.- problem is with a similar pool size and another z575 unit, thsi unit does not even start, and we can tell that when the unit try to start, voltage on input drop ( half second ) to 177 volts. so, is that the problem ?, what should i do to fix that.. regards Alex

You might want to note that people should turn off the power and discharge the capacitor first...
