Sad sweet heartfelt and emotional it was. I could relate growing up in a small town in the Midwest. I experienced similar difficulties with my parents and had a challenging relationship with my mother. I left home a few years after graduating from high school and hit the road to find out who I was. I went back on occasion and through the years watched them grow old and lose their physical and mental capabilities. I am working on a memoir about it now.

It's a pretty good movie, but the main character doesn't seem to own a normal shirt. He's running around rural Iowa all pumped up and with his shirt open halfway down even when he's wearing a jacket. Beefcake much?

Linsey Wagner is an authentic being. I am so glad she did not o down the plastic surgery route to stay in the spotlight and then have her face turn into a freak show. She’s aged gracefully

Having lived this story myself, I can relate. Some days were excruciating. Some days I felt deeply grateful in the moments that brought me back to myself. All days offered something of value. Harvesting their value is what its all about.

Many years ago I had a wonderful moment of getting to cross paths and meet the lovely Lindsay Wagner at the 600 building on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood. We exchanged hellos & politely shook hands with warm smiles. Gracious & polished as she was she left a long lasting impression for many years to this day. She continues to exude all of the many characteristics & beauty even today. A radiant star ⭐ 💜🕊️💜

This movie should move people to action to take care of their family, love them wherever, whenever, however you can. I attended a caregivers group where all the people had a spouse with alzheimers (my husband had a medical condition.) He has passed, but love the others who are going through this, both in facility and at home. I hope as I get through my own grief that I can help someone else.

Beautiful movie, made me cry. Loved the music. Did not know social services could do that, I know where I live that wouldn't happen.

With the 1985 movie being the film the introduced me to werewolves I'd sure like to see a reboot.

My mom didn't suffer very long with signs if it. But my sister took care of her till the end. She also took care of my dad and my mom never slept for five years cause he would walk with his cane at night. The proudest moment was whrn we went wilmington nc to see my daughter married on capefear river. E eryone was so impressed they made a splash at the wedding. Thats what i choose to remember.

Our Eldest brother has Alzheimer's. We are a large family. And we all do all we can to help look after him. Whilst his dear wife has too work. We are grateful every day to spend the time with our dear brother ❤

A MOST MOVING/TOUCHING story !

This film is full of nasty, bitchy women. He should have whisked up his mother and taken her to LA with him where he could afford to pay for care and rented out the farm to a family. Actually stupidist film too as people always go down hill rapidly one taken from their home and put in care. Dying in a geriatric hospital bed is dark.

I watched this movie today! The movie is great and realistic! Thank you! My mother is 93 year old I take care of her! The only thing I can do is to stay with her to take care of her, to talk to her! Thank God she is is still healthy and her mind is still good! This movie is eye opener to value our parents while they are still alive! Time is gold!
