I remember hearing about a lot of these back in the 2005-2006 era. After HBP but before DH. There was one that I think was called "Harry Potter and the Leopard Walk to Dragon" or similar. I remember an article on The Leaky Cauldron that included an excerpt. I don't remember what it contained, but I do recall something to do with cake icing.

Hey Mona this is a great looking deck, I've never used Neville as a starting character so will definitely use this for inspiration! Would you please be able to do a deck tech that doesn't include CoS cards? I know they're probably some of the best but they're the hardest to come by since I've only started collecting in the last year!

Great deck tech! I always love Quidditch decks. I saw someone build a Q deck trying to combo Body Blow twice in a turn and starting Neville to mitigate it. Not sure how well it worked but the idea with Neville is neat.

Are cauldrons used? Not with this strategy obviously, but otherwise.

That Dumbledore is 100% exactly how the first Lego minifigure of him looks like!

The mechanics of this one are super cool with how everything works together to discard cards. Will definitely give this one a go and would love to know if you make any changes to it 😊 Also agree that Midnight Duel is such beautiful art. Hope you have an awesome Christmas if you celebrate

Thanks so much for making this, I'd never seen the beta art before so this is all new to me! Seems there's always more to learn about TCG :) Interesting to me that Kartefakt in 2001 published the older 'front' art but has the final card backing art on the magazine cover, rather than the older card back that you showed in the video. Gives an idea of when certain changes might have happened in the timeline

Do you have a good owl tribal decklist?

Ohhh! I've always had memories of a lot of merch with these designs but never understood what it was based on, because it didn't look like the movies or illustrations from the books...So now I know! Personally I have a small ceramic figure of Harry with the striped polo and jeans riding a broom. Also had a plush Bertie Bot's beans toy like the one illustrated here!

I remember all the original Harry Potter product-ties matching these designs from coloring books to the Lego sets to the video games. It explains why the products didn't more closely resemble the designs from the films and the likeness of the cast until around Prisoner of Azkaban.

This is really cool. I mean its kind of like the Pokedex that was released for pokemon back in the day.
