Sadly it cant be played multiplayer even with the updated version, plus all 6 maps arent completly accessible neither, in my case i traveled to johto & kanto but the only 2 cities you can explore are Goldenrod for johto & Saffron city for Kanto, aside from those 2 cities on those 2 maps, you cant explore nothing else on those 2 maps which is really sad, thus you get to fully explore the Rijon map aside from Naljo map & only Mt.Ember but not the other islands

Totartle > Blastoise Blastoise makes zero sense being in the Squirtle evolutionary line. All the other starters had a theme that they kept to. Charmander line has a flaming tail, Bulbasaur line has a plant on its back that grows. Squirtle’s thing was that it was supposed to be a fluffy turtle, based on the legend of the Minogame turtle. It was an awesome concept, and they threw it all away in favor of a Pokémon that looks like a water bear born with cat ears. I get that they were running out of cartridge memory, and cuts needed to be made, but cutting Totartle and tacking on Blastoise into an evolutionary line that it never belonged in was just plain stupid.

It would be so cool if they retconned Baby Pokemon to be Pre-Evos instead of Base Mons. Babies are notoriously weaker than actual Base Mons. For example. Pichu is Prevo. Pikachu is Base. Raichu would be Stage 1. Gorochu would be Stage 2.
