I’m a new huge fan of Frankie Lymon. I’ve heard just about every song that’s available on TH-cam and other platforms. Around this time he made “is you is or is you ain’t my baby” “Lover come back to me” “change partners” and “I put the bomp”. He sounded great on all of those, this one he must of been under the influence. It only makes sense, or maybe sad and depressed.

If this is Frankie, he sounds like he's on drugs or something is in his mouth.

Im gonna put this along side Frank Sinatra when he sang one for my baby. That is, a dim lit bar. a drink in hand, and smoke rising from a cigarette in an ashtray. Frankie sat on a stool in front of an audience, a piano tinkling away and him daydreaming lovingly of his girlfriend/wife.

I was a teen ager when he was a teen ager ,I loved his voice and thought it was a gift from God ,I also felt that way about Whitney Huston .I love everything the teenagers made especially "I promise to remember "when ever I hear that song I back in time when thing were real .

what a great group....what sincere singing....this guy had so many things going with his voice, and 13 ! ! ! ! his voice can be piercingin a wonderful way, it can be soft, so many little nuances in his singing.......what a genius....and the genius harmony's from the other 4 amazing singers, but the best is how they all came together in these songs and had that magical wonderfullness that doesn't happen very often...............thank you truthfinder.........
