On my 2020 Kymco Like 150i, there is an oil drain plug on the left side of the scooter, in addition to the drain plug with the oil screen. As I recall, Kymco calls for cleaning the screen on every other oil change. If not cleaning the screen, the drain plug on the left side is a bit more convenient, in my opinion, though I consider both drains to be easily accessible.

Jefe, no hay un filtro de combustible individual, es un conjunto con la bomba de combustible, pero puede cambiar el filtro si ese es el único problema. está ubicado debajo del reposapiés. Retire los 4 tornillos en la parte superior para acceder. lo reemplazas cuando es necesario, pero si el combustible en tu país no es tan bueno, te sugiero 12 mil km.

In changing the gear oil, I would not add it to the engine oil to be discarded, but save it in a separate container, as it appears to come out quite clean, and can be used in your workshop for other lubricating jobs as needed. In regard to the CVT Filter, I would leave it to soak in the requisite cleaning solution overnight. With the air filter, I'd leave it's outer cover off, then clean the CVT Filter, as it gives easier access to the CVT cover's top bolts with the Air Filter cover removed, then reassemble in reverse order. I pick up my new Kymco 150 FI in a few days. Cheers and ride safe everyone...

When referring to the brakes on a vehicle, the correct spelling is *BRAKE/S* and not *BREAK/S* ,. *BREAK* of course, is the correct spelling when referring to taking a tea/lunch break, toilet break, and a break from driving/riding etc., etc. That aside, an excellent informative video, thanks for sharing...

Pwede din ba sa Like150i yung LED projector retrofit yung headlight? Ganun kasi ginagawa ng mga naka Vespa para palakasin yung headlight nila.
pwede boss kaya naman gawan ng paraan pero wala pako nakita naka like 150i na nag retrofit karamihan kasi MDL lang sapat na.

para sakin boss ok na ok cya di ka mabibitin sa power kung concern mo po is yung service hanap kayo ng kymco certified or yung maalam sa g5 gy6 engine which is very common naman po sa scooter engine kaya madali lang makahanap ng gagawa. kung brandnew naman po under warranty yan ng dealer na pinagbilhan.

My manual says to add 140 ml of gear oil I have a 2019 Kymco like 150. I changed mine yesterday so hopefully my manual is correct. Thanks for the info on doing this. Very helpful!

Hindi ako nagka issue sa sparkplug/cap boss gaya ng ibang unit pero nagpalit nako ng sparkplug after ng brisk kasi naubos na yung tip nya at the same time nagpalit nadin ako ng cap para sure na di cya matatangal

If I take my Kymco in for these services, will they automatically do all these things? Or is the customer responsible to tell them. I only ask because it seems that most mechanics just fix what is broken at the moment. I know they do oil changes and gear oil maybe and belts but how does one really know if they are inspecting all that stuff? My Kymco like has less than 1000 km currently but my first service is in about 30 days.
if your scooter is due for PMS most of the sevice center will only do the oil change, gear oil and cleaning the air filters. this list came from our booklet/handbook for maintenance and a guide for the things that we should look at before that milage come up. they should be doing the list as it is a "preventive maintenance"

Thanks for the video. This morning I noticed 2 or 3 oil spots in my garage where I’ve been party scooter for about 10 days now. . I have a Kymco like 150 with only 162 miles so I’m surprised it’s leaking from the drain plug. I haven’t tried to tighten it yet but guessing that might do the trick. Anyway you helped me identify where the plug was. Do you think I just try tightening up?
try to tighten it first but be very careful not to over tight it could damage your thread in the drain bolt. if it doesnt do the trick try to put sealant/silicone gasket around the bolt but the first option should do it
@@bosslakay507 thanks for the reply. I ended up taking in and they said it was residual oil above the gear drain plug area and nothing to worry about. But I scheduled to have the dealership do my first 1000 km service. I do think I’ll try my own maintenance once my warranty is up after 2 years.
