"It was very smooth but you felt what you needed to feel" is a perfect way to describe El Toro. I've only been on it once but it was a night ride on my birthday. OMG, what an incredible experience! I only have 51 coaster credits so far but El Toro and Wicked Cyclone are tied for my #1.

i love great adventure, if u guys ever go back you have to try medusa. it is very out of the way from the rest of the park but it’s a great coaster.

the music in yum yum land is terrifying

The town used to smell like chocolate. About 10 years ago they closed down the old factory. New factory on Hersheypark drive filters out the chocolate aroma.

The park was once wild world, which was mainly just a water park and it had the original wild one layout. Then the park turned to Adventure World, now Six flags aka 5 banners. Only past employees will get that insider joke lol.

This is my home park, and it's sad to see its decline. We used to go there when I was a kid. It used to be the hang-out spot. The CEO should definitely watch this video in hopes of restoring the former charm of this place.

I was just there yesterday. 101 degrees and naturally the park was empty. We got to ride all the rides (all were open somehow) and just walk right on and try multiple times. Here's what I'll say though since Great Adventure is my closest park. This park needs major love. All the rides seemed old even if they aren't. Desperately needs paint upgrades and that would do wonders. Areas like you showed where fences are up that look dilapidated and things just unkept. Areas that we wondered if anyone has looked over in years. Wooden coasters felt sketchy and rode very rough which can be ok, but not the sketchy part. The ride selection is just meh. Superman was by far the best but the red paint looked 20 years old. Just needs love. It goes over burnt grass and absolutely no theming on most rides for that matter. This park does have potential, but it for sure needs a make over. Felt completely neglected. Employees seems completely uninterested and uninvested in making park goers feel good. No enthusiasm. Just paid to be there. Hot or not, there was just no fun to be had from them. Firebird was kinda boring and short. The new screammore ride was very fun, but so short! That area though was nice for a new addition. That's about it. so yeah, just overall needs a lot of love but in the way of attention, not necessarily additions. Layout is kinda stupid and makes you walk to nowhere sometimes. Great Adventure is vastly superior to this park in every way.

Six Flags America has A LOT of potential. The first area you pointed out that seemed blocked off used to be a pathway leading to the former location of their Enterprise ride used to be back in the day. I agree that there are areas needing some TLC, but they are making strides with improvements. You also pointed out former sites for the Larsen Looper and another flat ride that was removed from the Mardis Gras area. Hopefully, they will be replaced with additional flats in 2025. It's a charming park. The re-imagined SteamTown area is excellent! Give them some time and you may be surprised in the future.

Operation wise, this has been a bad year so far. One train ops on every coaster and I think it’s for the whole year. Food prices have gotten insane with less portions. The new water coaster that opens keeps shutting down every 30 mins. Shipwreck Falls is closed for good and now has a fence around it.

I actually like this park 😂 BUT it definitely needs attention n’ love! lots of POTENTIAL, but 🤷🏻‍♂️ (grateful that Kings Dominion/Busch are my home parks and this park is kinda like a bonus for me lol)

Jesus this park needs a desperate overhaul. I think the last time I was here was in 2005
