Here is a handful of gulls that (I suspect) stopped for a rest during the migration Ring-billed, Herring, and perhaps others. Thanks for watching and please like and subscribe.

Possibly American Crows, however head seems small and one of these individuals has a hooked bill. Also curious is the double-tail, but that may be due to molting. Thanks for watching and please like and subscribe.
Geese Keeping the River Clean!

Lots of green plants in the river use oxygen that supply the fish. If you can imagine more plants means less fish. So my guess is that these geese eating the greenery is helping keep the river healthy! Thanks for watching and please like and subscribe!

Migrating gulls stop for a rest. Mostly Herring Gulls and Ring-billed gulls seen in the area, but seems like there may be a few outliers hanging around this morning.

0:02 gull sp.(laughing gull??) compared to greater yellowlegs (abruptly cut off at 17 seconds, but he appears to be considerably smaller than the laughing gull. 1:28 laughing gull compared to gull sp.(laughing gull??) 2:19 laughing gull compared to gull sp.(laughing gull??) 3:07 laughing gull compared to gull sp.(laughing gull??) 7:06 laughing gull compared to greater yellowlegs

Double like this!!! My family kept “Timmy” (snapper) in a pond in the yard for years. He was prehistoric and fed better than most people! Timmy escaped somehow, but I’m sure he is out there somewhere. No predator would handle him. He’s a wrecker.

I called it a him, but upon trying to learn how to tell the difference, I later read that females are 1/3 larger than males and given the size I think she is most assuredly a female! She was all of 20” tall!
