It’s important to get these story’s on film good job and prayers to all the people suffering from mental illnesses out there. If you look at this world we’re are all surviving on very thin line. If there was no power or gas you can bet people will be looking for help from the homeless on how to stay warm on them cold nights.

I would hope that Mayor Gondek watches this. And she sees how her city REALLY is behind her rose coloured glasses. Her ARTSY FARTSY spending on a brilliant Art Centre, that most people cannot afford (because of our endless property tax increases), and the new sports centre, which the average family cannot afford to enjoy. Hey, Jyodi, how can people afford extra donations to help the homeless when your council keep getting raises instead of helping out your citizens. So cruel!

I have been homeless since April 1st of this year. I dont drink or smoke. Fully Employed majority of the time. Just next to impossible to find suitable living situations. Was living in my car until it got vandalized back in August up in Radisson Heights where i grew up since 1985. When confronting the punks who where doing it, 6 of them jumped me from behind and i got stabbed twice. Been at the homeless shelter since.. so much Divided mindsets here.. Every Man For Himself pretty much... Sad..

People who have been forgotten or lost to the Sttigma called Homeless in Calgary. All Human and with memories of being a Child. A few look to be Indigenous, Immigrant perhaps Refugee that were probably promised a better life only to be disappoinred again. How many years have they waited to get noticed or to have someone listen. This brought a tear to their eyes as they try to hide this from sight. Setting up a fund to find their families and send them to them to provide a better life or perhaps even help with something better than what they have been forced to live as HOMELESS. In the end they do have a family in each other. Very Moving Video! 😢

Great video Carlos! I think it is very important that everyone can tell their story. Behind every addict there is a human being who has a story to share.

Homelessness is not a money problem. Its a mental illness/drug problem. These people need real help, not free drugs and legal injection zones. The current way of doing things is failing. This video is exhibit "A" of how we are currently failing these folks.

what "song" does she in 6:43 mean ? i felt so sad to hear that i had to cry. that feels like lost family to hear that. is the father of that woman still alive ? if her father is alive, it would be something great to bring them together, just as she liked to talk with him back then. if she would marry and have her own daughter, she would feel like she is talking to her dad again when she sees her daughter talking to her dad (the dad of her daughter i mean). that would be a way to fill the gap her father left if he passed away. i just remember a lady whom i knew a long time ago, it was in the years 1993 1994, she said she hasn't had a dad when she was little and that she finds it lovely / awesome when she sees her daughters (she had 2 daughters at that time) talking with their dad. i think a mom identifies with her daughter in that or a father with his son, so a mom lives her childhood once again when she sees her daughter talking with her dad, that is why i think this, to heal a womans or mans heart. this is so human, family, and i feel so sorry for these poor people who are alone and would so love to be with their families, maybe because I'm a single (mid aged) man and i dont have a family either, so i can feel their loss and heart pain. i'm not homeless, i have my own home, for her as a homeless it will be dangerous out there. what is the name of that lady in 6:43 and why doesnt she has a husband ? does she not want to have a husband & children together with him or does she not want a husband & children? i cant picture a woman who misses her dad would not want a family of her own, i guess there was no man for her yet to marry. i havent met her and dont know about her charackter, is she normal sane to get along with? from the video she appears normal sane so far. from her looks she doesnt look bad at all, even ok although she is sad (which is understandable in that life circumstances beeing homeless). i wish she would have an own little appartment for her to live and a her own family if she likes. i wish a better life for us all, our own families, a good life with love and all right. ❤‍🩹 if you meet her again, please tell her this from me.
