I wash my daughters box braids every week and use a crochet need to tighten the box braids once a month. They last 3 months and she never has build up or itchiness. (We use a clarifying shampoo, deep conditioner and then apple cider vinegar rinse.) Plus the new growth isn’t as visible after using the crochet needle. Ppl always commenting how I always have her braids done monthly and I I DO NOT!! I just found a method that works for us.

If your hair has build up do not pull it apart dry! You will pull out all your hair..... use conditioner water in a spray bottle and let it soak it will slip out easily 🙏

i’m so ready to take mines out but everyone keeps saying nice hair even though it’s been 2 months i was planning to take them out when my package comes with my hair stuff and clothes so i can look and feel nice but i just can’t take it no more 😂

all unrighteousness is sin and all of us have sinned against the Holy God, and so we all deserve eternal damnation in hell. we could not get right with God by our act of "Good works," nothing by own our righteousness we could do to could save us. which is why there is the "Good news/ Gospel" The debt we couldn't pay, CHRIST payed for us on the cross. we broke the law/ GOD'S commandments, and CHRIST JESUS payed the fine. Only through CHRIST we can be saved, whosoever believes and is baptized with the Spirit shall be saved. and this good news is for everyone, no matter what religion, no matter what sin, Jesus came to save us from them so we could be brought back into relationship with God, and be saved.

I would suggest washing your braids every 2 weeks to keep from having that buildup at the root area. That way, you won’t have to worry about the gunk becoming too much to handle

For build up try using a little conditioner it helps to loosen up the hair and you can get all the dirt and gunk off with your comb
