I am genuinely amazed that you have top-tier content like this available completely for free. Not to mention how clearly, well and in-depth you have explained everything. Thank you very much for your work!
My pleasure! Sorry behind on new content, work is brutal lately. What topics should I make more videos on?
@@code3academy Oh yes, work can bog you down sometimes! Stay strong! Personally, I have recently started teaching anatomy for first year paramedic students and I find it difficult to understand how to teach clinically relevant knowledge from muscles because part of anatomy is to understsand muscle names and their functions - but when I worked in EMS myself I barely (if at all) needed any of the knowledge from "brutal" anatomy names like skeletal muscles (except heart, of course). Only perhaps the most relevant i/m injection sites and some absolute basics of muscle movement that don't really require knowledge of naming muscles. And I frequently get confused what they'll need in their upcoming adventures, meaning that things that actually are viable on the field (either working as a paramedic in a hospital or in an ambulance). I believe that they'll memorize the names, but I still struggle with what they'll need. TL/DR: Where skeletal muscle anatomy is relevant in practice still continues to evade me.
@@RobertsRuža I have to balance that also. Do you have the EMS education curriculum?

I think for a long exam - e.g. 50 or more questions that the one-and-done approach is a bad one. I have seen these one-at-time with no-backtracking tests and they are bad. The reason is that the student has to know how much time to spend per question and there is a tendency to run out of time before be able to answer all the questions. Moreover, force quit is generally thought to be a bad idea. It creates problems for both the students and the instructor.
thank you for sharing this! im learning from this.

Student of Latin here… “pre-moom” “non” “no-chair-rey”. This is the ecclesiastical pronunciation which sounds very much like modern-day Italian. The classical pronunciation is “pre-moom” “non” “no-care-rey”.
Thank you! I found different resources and used the mot popular. I shall add when I update.
Thank you. Very succinct and easy to understand 😊
Thank you! More coming soon, any topics we can include for you?

I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out how you don't have hundreds of thousands of subscribers. This is an excellent resource! Thanks for making this information available! I'm a paramedic student and these videos have been very helpful for me!
Thank you! What topics can I work on for you!?
My sister was hit NY a car at low speed inside of a crosswalk. She got immediate assistance from the driver. The officer told me that she just got knocked over. I don't understand how she can be so very injured. She is in an induced coma with severe tbi and skull fracture. They are having a hard time regulating the pressure in her brain. I feel so helpless.
I'm so sorry to hear this. She may have looked like she got knocked down like PD said, but her head likely took all the energy. How is she doing now? Our body commonly overdoes the swelling after an injury but in the brain that initial swelling causes more swelling. I will think of you all and hope for healing. ❤
@Code 3 Academy she sadly passed away a week ago Sunday. They couldn't get any response and when they were able to do an MRI discovered she had a stroke. Her husband had to make the awful decision to end life support. I will never be the same.
Thank you for the information 🙏
