He shoots the opposite way most lefty's shoot. His right leg is the last foot to touch the floor and the last to be raised for the jump shot. Most lefty's (especially tall ones) put most weight on their left to create lift then land with their right and hop on it afterwards - brunson, da'aron, harden, even ginobilinto an extent. His shooting hand (left obv) is even swings down before his guide hand which is also unconventional for lefty's and righty's. More obvious details like his high catapult-like release and relative squareness in his base are key to his form. Again his left knee is creating the most leverage by staying straight until right before launch. His right knee bends alot more throughout wich might help with balance and causes his base to look like a righty shooter. All in all there's definitely alot to takeaway from his work.

Coach Griffin is credited for coaching up guys like Jimmy Butler. Maybe that is why Giannis also wanted him. He might be able to coach some "toughness" the Bucks sorely need in the playoffs and lacked these past two playoff seasons.
