'Help Save the Youth of America' (Live Billy Bragg Cover) - Tim Lee
Me performing the amazing Billy Bragg song 'Help Save the Youth of America' at the Box in Crewe.
It's not my best vocal delivery ever, but I hope I gave some of the passion of the original. I hope it inspires you to check out the original Billy Bragg song, which is one of my favourites of his.
As stated, this is not my original song and I own no rights to it (and I'm not making any money off this!), but I enjoy playing it, and I hope you enjoy listening to it!

2024 - One Second a Day for a whole year! Phew, that wasn't always easy, but I'm glad I stuck to at least one of my resolutions for the year in doing this challenge! I think it's an interesting task in a few ways. Firstly, it shows the real mixture of the 'highlights' but also the banality of everyday life. It also encourages you to consider every day has its 'moments' and the beautiful that yo...

On lcd screen the component cable is amazing, on crt Maybe the rgb scart is way better!
God, there was just something about young Patti...
Jerry Harrison was in the Modern Lovers and Talking Heads. Huge influence. Also from my town, little Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Excuse you... - but the Aussie K-9 series was brilliant fun! ^^
Jonathan...one of a kind genuine gentleman. Not a fake. Thats why it does not age. Realize, hes been ripped off...but he probably knows that. The liner notes to MLovers is alone hilarious and worth $100.
What colour is the tele? Good video btw
@Jimfowler82 thank you! It's a full colour one :)
My first computer back in the 80´s. Sadly only with the monochrome (green) screen. In Germany it was called Schneider CPC 464. Take a look to the belt of the tape deck. In 99% of the cases you have to replace it when the tape´s not working. Greets from Germany!
@kaimyke2554 hi, that's a great story thank you for sharing and thank you for viewing all the way from Germany! I've visited your beautiful country a few times and it's a pleasure to hear your thoughts
Nice video, thank you
Love this Tim! Happy new year 🎉

@user-dh4mi6ir2m hi, I use Capcut app on my phone. There is an option to 'overlay' videos, so I overlayed the Gameplay video over the talking video. Hope that helps :)
I brought one a couple of years back . Used it 4 times then it wouldn't charge again . ( Two weeks) Got my money back and brought a surfola cam with better quality
Thank you!
I really enjoyed this edit, and have already preordered it on dvd. Liked the colourisation, but the story did feel rushed at times. Overall I think it will be a good alternative to have for future viewing. Any views ive seen are from Classic fans comparing to the original, but wonder the thoughts of newer fans who were watching this for the first time.
Thanks for that ..I shall look forward to seeing it
Amazing
Aww great to see Rup mate 😊
Your reaction to Super Huey was the correct one.
I was raised in Detroit on bands like MC5 and Iggy and the Stooges I love Joe Walsh in the James Gang but can't handle the Eagles. Now I listen to Jeff Beck Zappa and King Crimsom mostly ... and old blues. Patti Smith married Fred Sonic Smith from the MC5
Whoever uploaded this, I am not worthy. Thank you so much.
@joeb5765 thank you, glad you enjoyed it
Sorry lost interest when he kept saying Lindsay & Buckingham
@@TheGenreman whoops, well spotted haha!
Loving the one second a day Tim 😊
"Red Wizzard shot the food"... 🤣
Lol sunshine? Are you sure you are in the uk? 😂 Sadly i gave never been to the cave, even though it is only about 20 miles down the road from me. I know, right, i should be arrested. Anyway, i am really glad that you had a great time there and It's understandable that the footage you got was limited. You were having too much fun. But, it's really great footage so thanks for that. I hope your wife enjoyed herself there too. She's definitely a keeper!
@@therealyogibear2k225 aw thanks for the lovely comment. You definitely need to get down there when you get chance, it’s awesome!
1. Love and Theft 2. What the heck you doin' my friend? "mostly forgettable set of songs" WHAT
@@garad123456 I think I’m so new to a lot of these albums and need to savour them a lot more over time!
@@TimLeeSongs Yeah, well everyone has their taste but I just want to say that Love and theft didn't catch me instantly, it took some time but in my opinion it's his best album. All of the songs are great and it's one of his most cohesive works as an album.
@@garad123456 Oo, thank you, I'll definitely need to check that one out again then! I'm the same with Street Legal, definitely one of my favourites but doesn't get the love from fans for some reason
Sorry for all the jump edits. I’d love to say it’s because I was trying to be a ‘cool TH-camr,’ but it was more because I’ve had a break from presenting and am very rusty 😆
Oh you got your Master System! 😍 nice finds mate, so glad you had a great time!
It's not a man and a woman, it's a man and two women.
If your tech savvy enough you can fix the blinking light by nipping a pin off the lock out chip with flush cutters leaving the system both regain free and long lasting (the chip often fails)
Is the same as Dancing in the Streets, plural? There’s two.
@@ericsilberstein667 Oo not sure sorry
I bought this then I upgraded to the Retron2 and then purchased the MegaRetron. I use them on my CRT. My biggest gripe is the colour pallet on the NES. It is just really off. Some sounds are just a little off too. I still enjoy my games though and the controllers are solid! If you use PAL cartridges on the system it runs too fast. I use a naughty flash cart from AliExpress. Well worth checking out.
oh no, this device is terrible, the colors are all wrong! its too fast as well, definatly a 30 pound experience
A real NES would do the same thing (provided you bypassed the lockout chips), the issue is that PAL-optimized games will run fast if put in a NTSC console.
Should I use this for scootering vlogs until I get a GoPro
@@Aarnold_Clark you could do. It’s not the best though
@@TimLeeSongs can you connect them to iPhone/IPad
@@Aarnold_Clark I don’t think so, it’s a mini sd you’d need to put in your computer.
Nice video!
Bro, I didn't find the gold membrane inside the box for the shock mount ,how did you attach yours then ? your video was too quick in that part
@@flameofmidnight5041 sorry I think this might have been an adapter I had from another mic, but not sure sorry.
@@TimLeeSongs No it's ok bro, I went to the music shop and he explained to me how to assemble the shock mount to the microphone stand
@@flameofmidnight5041 Awesome, hope you really enjoy it
I liked the movie. Haven’t seen the remake. That one Twilightzone episode WILL come to mind ‘it’s a COOKBOOK!’ when watching it 🛸
Great video! I really love how you broke down the topic and explained. Your content aligns a lot with what I create too-I’ve been sharing similar tips on filmmaking and gear reviews. Would love for you to check out my RODE NT1 review video when you have a moment! Keep up the awesome work!
1.Blonde 2.Blood 3.Highway 61 4. Bringing It 5. Street -Legal 6. Freewheelin' 7. Modern Times 8.Time Out 9.Harding 10.The Times
Spike was one of my faves on the Vectrex, purchased from Boots of all places.. Oric 1 was my first computer and I actually got on well with the keyboard.
Nice mate 🎸👍
1. Blonde on Blonde 2. Time out of Mind 3. Bringing it all Back Home 4. Blood on the Tracks 5. John Wesley Harding 6. Infidels 7. Highway 61 Revisited 8. Street Legal 9. Shot of Love 10. Desire 11. Planet Waves 12. Nashville Skyline
Blonde is just a dumb album. I mean literally the poetry is dumb for the most part. Bringing it all back home has it's all right ma and Gates of Eden and Mr tambourine Man not to mention It's all over now baby blue. Another side has chimes of freedom and Ramona and Spanish Harlem incident so I would rate that higher. I would move Dylan 1962 lower simply because it's not original. I would probably put Nashville skyline lowers simply because it's tedious to listen to If you've heard many times. I have no problems with self-portrait but there's a lot of good stuff on another self portrait that's B material. Instead of Nashville skyline I would put new morning as an A. No problem woth Blood on The Tracks. Are you actually putting desire ahead of freewheelin'? I mean just the writing on freewheeling is better than most other Dylan albums and most other artists. Also some of these albums have really poor productions but good songs so I don't even know how you're supposed to rank those
Great video! Thank you for sharing! Greetings from Germany!
@@GeorgesChannel thank you!
Blonde on Blonde is the best but my favorite is Oh Mercy
Some cool games there! I love Grease too! Also pin ball games are sooo tough! Not one of my skills there 😂
@@Blonde_Logic_Gaming me neither! For a game collector I sure am terrible at video games haha
@@TimLeeSongs I’m good at a select few 😅
Cracking track, Tim! Got a lovely 80's indie feel in the intro and choruses - informed, but not derivative. Catchy song and great lyrics too. A triumph!
@@garywilcox8372 cheers buddy!
H61R is S+ It's the album that changed the game for everyone and it has no filler. BOTT is great but didn't change the game BoB has filler H61R reigns supreme. I'll die on that hill.
Is the whole period just has a lot of silly imagery that doesn't mean anything. How can you possibly compare it to all the great Dylan songs?
Nice Tim! Great track
Great song and fun, eye-catching video! I particularly love the interplay between the driving guitars and punchy bass. Sentiments many will empathise with, nice one Tim!
@@JonathanTarplee thanks mate!
