Hot rods, classic cars, shenanigans, and a touch of creative brilliance. And occasional moonshine.

You too good weekend too
Did a great job , fantastic,
Thank you! much appreciated :)
@ yes thanks too , great
Lovely well done get all working , my friend sell me a airfix mk 1 cortina later on so you did great job with it , so good on you hope you get it together too , Happy birthday too , you a legend , awesome job, well done too
Have you thought about painting the track?
No current plans at the moment. Who knows thougg
A classic Hot Wheels fee-fie-faux pas. If you want to release Hot Wheels original castings at a low price, at least give them a little bit of DETAIL!!!!!!!
Its such a strange pair of choices too. Like there are plenty of out of production castings they probably could get away with too.
Hi
Hello! Hope you enjoy our content!
Oi sou português
Looks a lot like the slot car set my oldest brother had in the late 60s
Классная тачка. Зашибись. Мне бы такую для макета аэропорта
Thanks for uploading this video, I was at the show and it was quite an enjoyable day. You ought to brush up on you Ferrari knowledge though, as BOTH of the ones here are actually Toyota MR2 Based, as a Genuine 288 GTO is worth a couple of £ Million
I did have suspicions that maybe something along the lines of that. Is there a telling feature that can help identify them as mr2 based?
@@RustNGasoline To the untrained eye they are good representations But the 288 GTO alone is a clue, Only 272 ever made, So you would only be likely to see one of those at Pebble Beach USA or some Posh Concourse do in London or Monaco, and the other one has an H Reg Plate, which wouldn't tie in with the 355 year. Crazy thing for the time and money spent on a conversion you could almost buy a 355
I can 100% certify that ,that is indeed a vroom vroom
It is indeed!
No that's a toy car
i mean, true
Bullring
That’s Birmingham uk 🇬🇧
yep, just on the pathway that cuts through the middle of the bullring
Nice job,Iloveit.
Thanks!
I have the Orange one. Great short.
thanks! I might look out for more of the alts of the shuttle bus, as its unironically a fantastic model
Good projects mate 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Might be worth throwing a new cambelt kit on it as well just to be on the safe side as it's be sat so long. Definitely not a hard job on these. These 8 valves were far more reliable than the 16v with their woeful head gaskets.
My brother had one of these, i love the wooden dash.
wooden dashes are the best. Wish modern cars were as stylised
Wow😮😮
These are surprisingly rare today, can't remember when I last saw one on the road.
Sadly, neither can I :(
Had 7 Metro GTi-16vs over the years, ranging from single point to multi-point and a couple with a 1.8VVC. Always bought MOT failure 214's for spare engines and gearboxes as I did a bit of hillclimbing and sprints. Out of all those cars I never once had a head gasket failure. The cars were always well serviced and I had uprated radiators in them from the diesel Metro. I drove them like they were stolen too. The K-series is a great engine if looked after.
That little Albion's going to be well cool as a slot.
I will always love the rsc
well done men great car rovers are good
Loved my old m reg 214, walnut trim on the dash felt proper posh! Back when cars were simple & great to drive !
I had one for a couple of years. A bugga for steaming up though.
Back when car interiors had style!
Nice cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!
@@RustNGasoline you're welcome anytime!!!!!!!
Mod Podge is used by model car builders to glue the glass in- which drys clear.
The Morris van could have the rear doors removed with a Harvey Frost crane sticking out the back or one of the little simpler cranes they used.
If they had stayed with Honda they could have still been here Greetings from Scotland 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
hello to scotland! thats a point though tbf itd also still be here if the govt actually followed up on the promise to do 'whatever they can' to save the company. ah well. such is life eh. at least theres a lot Rovers still out there and running
They didn't have a choice. BAE wanted to sell their share, and BMW undercut Honda (who had taken a loan) making an offer straight to BAE that they couldn't refuse. Had Honda got there first I do think they still would've been here.
I thought Honda ended the alliance by selling its 20% stake to BMW.
@@Azureecosse Honda had planned to take a larger stake but BMW bought out everything BAE had in Rover making them the controlling shareholder. That effectively forced Honda to sell what they had invested in Rover. They had no choice.
They didn't have a choice. British Aerospace wanted rid. BMW wanted Land Rover's 4x4 technology. Honda didn't want a controlling stake.. It's a shame but that's how it is.
214i
good catch. my bad. Typing too fast
Is that the one you have to take the sump of to take the head off and i thought the 16v mpi was bad enough god 8v cpi must be horrendous
I have the green spider green and black
nice
They should do a version of the camel spider a very wicked insect
honestly more spider themed cars would be great. maybe a spider-themed tanker even where the tank part is the abdomen
My street creeper is like a pastel green color
ooh nice. colour shifters or?
We're still seeing stuff from 2023 because Hot Wheels is backed up I think
that makes sense.
Great video, lovely car, had 1990 414 saloon, one of 5 rovers over the years, still have a 1998 200 from new, still like new 😀 all the best from Ireland
Rovers might well be the best British cars in this channel's opinion. Though we have a former Rover engineer background so might be biased haha
I would whop a cam belt onto that before daring to drive it. I had one of those as a cheapie about 20 years ago. It did what I wanted very well and it went on and on.
Probably a good shout :)
It's Swedish 😂
Honestly wouldn't be the first time ive made that mistake haha
Love the chrome trim and the grey paint/stripes. It looks so clean.
I think this livery is a clear example of 'less is more' when it comes to design. not every car needs bright colours and lots of art or sponsors to looks good. (dont get me wrong I like rally cars and stuff too).
I like that airfix MG 1100,kind of a fan of them.I have restored 3 already by Matchbox, entertaining video mate
Nice MG 1100 ,I would say 1/24 but I can be wrong. I have to watch your videos, just discovered your channel ,so new sub mate ,cheers Laz
ayyyy thanks for the support! Yeah but for sure it's not 1/34 like the ebay seller advertised.
Definitely not,that's for sure
But this isn't a WW2 jeep. It looks to be a Jago model.
I'll be honest, I don't know what the telltalle signs are to know the difference.
Love it!!
Glad you like it! Our local classic petrolhead community is a lot of fun!
Interesting video
Glad you think so! We try our best!
Interesting ldea converting these cheap model cars into scalextric cars , lve got a model of a Ford Anglia ,,My dad used to own one back in the day , l also got a Volkswagen Beatle in purple 👍
I spot the Matchbox streak track at end too. Me brother had one and i had the Red Hot Wheels one.
I remember getting this in 2019 for Christmas Nice video! Keep up the good work
Thanks! Will do! Hoping for find some of the nightburnerz boxes at some point!
Subbed your channel!
Awesome thank you! :D
Keep those slotcar videos coming!!!
More to come! that's a certainty!
