Surah Taha is the Quran's 20th surah. The surah is titled Taha because it opens with the disjointed letters a ṭā and hā.
Surah Taha is consists of 135 verses and, like all other Makki surahs, it focuses on the origin and resurrection of humans. Surah Taha is the first surah in which the narrative of Prophet Moses is described in detail, with more than 80 verses telling the story. A section of this surah is dedicated to the Quran's magnanimity and Allah's characteristics. In addition, this surah recounts the story of Adam and Eve and how Satan tempted them to eat from the Forbidden Tree. Finally, the surah provides readers with excellent and practical guidance.
