    Not sure about the best beach... maybe best adventure in the area to get to. But you reminded me about those Rings to catch fish from back in 2008 when I Kayaked to La Bufadora last night with Cal State San Bernardino Outdoors group. I also Kayaked El Bahia De Los Angeles and camped on hidden coves and an island.

    This brings back so many memories. In the 70's there were no roads (the one at the top of the mountain was being built). I was terrified as a child because we always arrived at night. We had to go through the water at the bottom road and our van would always get stuck. It was pitch black and I thought we were going to run into scary problems. Yes there was a little market run by Mr. Gomez. My grandfather leased one of the houses to the right of the port. He wrote a story about it called "God and Mr. Gomez" It's a story about my grandpa and Mr. Gomez (the store owner) and how they decided to build the house. Please read (or listen to it for free on Libby). It's great! I loved that place. And yes, the port you visited at the end was kind of scary for me as well but it turned out to be a nice place. My mom would pick up lobsters to cook from there. There was no electricity either so we had to use candles. The house had this huge wooden table. We would take it out when we arrived and place it right next to the cliff where the house was. It was wonderful. My grandfather had to sell the house because locals started to break into it when it was not in use. One time the bathroom caught fire. That was it for my grandfather:(

    Crowds? I visited Gonzaga back in the late 80's and because there was no paved road, there were no crowds. In fact to this day, that place was the quietest place I have ever experienced. Not a sound, no airplanes, no tourists, nothing. Those were the days!!

    • @bajabond
      @bajabond 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AA-le9ls the municipal of Ensenada is roughly 20,000 square kilometers. To put into better reference you can drive for 8 hours south and still be in Ensenada. Or the equivalent of driving from San Diego to San Francisco. To think that a single crime doesn’t occur in that total stretch would be ignorant. But Ensenada is still many times safer than what occurs in that entire land mass between San Diego and San Francisco.

      I would get the Ecoflow delta 2. With the current price it’s unbeatable. I think the price on eBay is the lowest and it ships from Ecoflow. This was the first video I ever uploaded almost 4 years ago. It seems to be getting a lot of attention these past few days for the tragedy that has just taken place. It’s been a very sad week for everyone down here. I can assure where we are in this video is not where any of the recent incidents took place. We camped in town where just behind us are about 30 homes. La Bocana de Santo Tomas stretches pretty far south through several ranches and off road routes. Punta San Jose is even further south and I’ve never visited that area.

So I can’t say much about that particular area. I wish the best as this is a very sad moment. People I know have claimed to have surfed with them at some point in Ensenada. So hopefully everyone can tie enough together to figure out what’s going on and help them.
