Danielle Smith gave Michaela Frey a well paying, pointless position in return. Alberta has the lowest amount of Legislature sittings of any provincial or territorial government in Canada. Danielle Smith reduced it even more. In 2023, the Alberta Legislature had only 5 weeks of sessions.
