I can't find this episode on Paramount Plus. I remember seeing on Nickelodeon years ago.

I always questioned that, too, as to how they were going to do all the experiments with no one on the rocket, or why they would include an entire video library on a ship that was going to be vaporized by the sun, anyway.

In real beavers, their scent glands (actually castor sacs) are located between their pelvis and tail, not on their tails, but they obviously could never get away with that on a kid's cartoon. (Also, beavers are one of the few mammals that have a cloaca, which is usually only found on birds and reptiles, so there's your fun science fact for the day!)

I know a show that is not from Nickelodeon, but it got screwed over big time for this: TMNT 2003. The reason why the first five seasons were so excellent because the creator had completele control over the production.

This video helped me realize or be reminded how many recognizable songs came out in the year of '99. I'd say "Mambo No. 5" is my favorite from your picks on the list; my introduction to it was actually through the Disney variant, where Lou Bega replaces the women's names with Mickey and friends. I remember watching the music video on Family in-between programs (remember when they used to do that?). BTW, "Mickey Mouse Works" is 25 years old today, as well. Still waiting for it or "House of Mouse" to be on Disney Plus. On a similar note, my introduction to "Slide" (and Goo Goo Dolls in general) was through the "Sesame Street" parody "Pride" performed by Goo Goo Dolls and Elmo. In general, there were some truly awesome musical guest appearances during that late '90s-2000s period of "Sesame", with one of my all-time favorites being REM performing "Furry Happy Monsters", a parody of (if Michael Stipe's guest appearance on "Space Ghost Coast to Coast" is anything to go by) what the band sees as one of their least-favorite songs. As for the honorable mentions, easily going with "All Star" as my favorite! It truly is to "Shrek" what "Circle of Life" is to "The Lion King". Also, one more thing I forgot to mention in this commentary: Another pet peeve of mine regarding this whole ordeal is people playing favorites. Ever since Quiet on Set came out, I’ve seen a couple people saying stuff like “I’ve always been a bigger fan of Cartoon Network”. Guys, CN has hired bad people too (Skyler Page, Julia Vickerman). They’re not clean either. Don’t think that just because there’s no similar docu-series for Cartoon Network akin to Quiet on Set as of yet that they’re automatically better. No studio is a saint, and it’s inevitable that bad people will be hired just about anywhere.

Space Jam is a guilty pleasure for me, too. But I do agree with Chuck Jones' opinions on the movie. While he didn't create most of the Looney Tunes cast, he was the main force that made them household names. Especially when you keep in mind that he literally wrote the book on how certain characters should behave. Particularly Wile E. Coyote and the Roadrunner. The shorts will always be the best, but Space Jam reminds me of what it was like to be a kid. But that's the problem with Space Jam; it was a commercial. The idea for the movie literally came from commercials that mainly featured Bugs Bunny and Michael Jordan. So yeah, I will always love the shorts the most. But Space Jam needs to be classified as a guilty pleasure movie for me. And these are the types of films that you don't recommend to anyone.

Sometimes I accidentally click on this instead of the actual review, lol, and it also happens with most of your other commentaries, for some reason I sometimes don't notice the big red "COMMENTARY" in the thumbnail. Lol

you know what would make my year? Make a full album review of Utopia from Travis Scott. I would like to see your view on the true meaning that he puts in behind his songs as they are very diverse. Also noticed that you shy away from Drake features, care to do a video or explanation?

10) Drake - Boring, slow, generic trap beat full of auto tune. Depressing lyrics. Sounds like a lot of his crappy songs. 9) Raye - Boring, dreary as f. 8) Cardi B/Lato - Generic trap beat, generic salacious lyrics, generic bragging about material things. Bollocks! 7) Travis Scott/Drake - no different from no.1. An utter mess. 6) Lady Gaga - this isn't too bad. Upbeat, less on the heavy EDM. 5) Kali - so she interpelated the lyrics from another song (which itself is shite), but the beat is dull and sound like a repeated intro on a loop. 4) Nicki Minaj/Ice Spice - yet another generic trap beat rap song. Both rappers sound like they were bored during recording. 3) Young Nudy/21 Savage - see no.4, only difference is that it has the generic boring sex shit talk that's been overdone. 2) Glorilla/Cardi B - see nos.4 and 8. DHM1 - Shit! DHM2 - Shit! DHM3 - Shit! DHM4 - Shit! DHM5 - Shit! 1) Jason Aldean - racist undertones, generic country sound. MAGA supporters cream themselves over this. The sheer arrogance of the lyrics makes this song a joke. The video itself just let's you know what's being said.

1) Talk slower, your lisp melds words together when you are talking fast. 2) videos like this work best when they are faceless video essay types, with pictures and videos relevant to the topic edited in, like Jake Tran. If you must have your face in this, let it pop in here and there. Like Patrick Cc maybe. The intense close up to your face as you speedily and nervously ramble on makes me feel attacked, lowkey. OR 3) don't give a **** what a random like me has to say. Screw me, and continue doing what you are doing how you wanna do it, man. One life to live, free country. But the actual stuff you are saying? Great. The actual content is good stuff.

"We Don't Talk About Bruno" is the one song on this list I'm most acquainted with, and as catchy as I find it to be, I feel like I'm a bigger fan of "The Family Madrigal" for its progressively faster pace as Mirabel introduces us to the family.

Sorry I missed the premiere, but this was a very good video to watch regardless. The 2023 picks for worst singles are mostly unfamilar territory to me, so I got nothing to add other than that you did a great job going in-depth on why these songs suck. One thing I'm with you on, though, is that Bowser's "Peaches" song is a strong candidate for Song of the Year. 😁

And in the McGee and Me! review, when Nick says "Cartoons are for, kids." and image of the CEO "Animation is for kids" guy on an article, flashed for a quick second. I feel like there's more of those blink-and-you-miss-it moments in your videos that I haven't noticed yet. Huh.

I've literally had THOUSANDS of times where I saw something one time, and have had a vauge memory about it but couldn't remember anything else about it. And it hasn't just happened with shows for me, even movies and videogames. Damn
