After extracting a higher fee for supposed same-day delivery, they backtracked, blaming the delay on unavailable drivers, and imposed additional storage charges. Their actions not only disrupted our schedule but also led to considerable unexpected expenses. This company's approach to business is both misleading and costly. My advice: steer clear of Go-Freight Group if you value transparency and fair dealing.

Zety is a scam company.When you use it, an automatic subscription of 19.9 yuan per month will be generated. Even if you cancel the subscription, they will still generate an automatic subscription of 34.9 yuan per month without your consent and without notifying you in any way, such as via email. By the time I discovered it, I had already been charged for 6 months. After complaining over the phone, they only refunded 3 months' worth of fees. If you search online for 'Zety scam,' you will see that many people have had the same experience. I am preparing to sue them. Leasing through your carrier is a scam. Lease directly from the manufacturer or dealership and run with a company if you care too. Dry van and reefer trucks are mostly spec'd to loose fuel economy at highway speeds. Any truck running 80,000 lbs and less needs to be geared to keep the engine speeds below 1400 RPMs regardless of engine. No engine built since 2005 needs to operate above 1400 at 65 70 or 75 Mph. We are wasting fuel spec'd wrong and we are running increased Regen cycles.

Hi! I'm not trying to be nit-picky, but am I hearing you correctly? at 3:25 you say "1 TEU is 2 twenty foot containers." Are you meaning to say that 1, FEU is equal to 2 twenty foot containers? You say it again at 13:15+ that "1 TEU is two twenty foot containers". I'm new to this, so I'm checking as to what you mean. Did i learn it incorrectly? I thought one TEU is ONE, 20 foot container. Can we talk about long distance drayage...how is that usually handled? Let's say a shipper is ready to receive a container in Orlando or Tampa, and the inbound port is Miami or Jacksonville. Would that container do a dray to either of those destinations (Orl or TPA), or would it trans-load closer to the port and pay a trucking fee for a dry van or whatever other trailer might be needed, but NOT a container on a chassis? Also, if a container was brought on a dray, all that way from Miami or Jax, would the box be dropped and left to unload, or would the drayman wait for unloading? It would really help to know the answers! You gave great resources, and of course I could look up a drayman on the site you gave us (through LoadMatch, drayage directory) but I thought I'd ask you first. Thanks again!

Drayage Broker don't pay that good for overload stuff. They actually load the truck to it's brim and kinda make it pretty some times for driver to see back mirror. I did it for a while but my guys had so many problems with drayage loads they think will be better to be OTR.

I like the content but everything that has been loaded onto this site, is 1 to 2 years old! What we have here, is another one of the YT channels that have video's that were uploaded by someone and bam, it gets a lot of subs and now making money. This type of content though needs updates from time to time, one year old freight market news is not relevant to today.

I mean, incentives do actually work in retaining talent. But the follow up question is: How do we become competitive implementing measures like these, and still meet our profit projections? How do we set our price strategy in a way that we still get an acceptable margin? All these measures will take a bite on your bottom line In other industries, this is typically more straight forward, dealing with cost vs sales price. I get the feeling in this industry is not that straight forward (I’m new to the industry, trying to find my way in) As always, your wisdom is very well appreciated

Hello Don Brocephus, First time seeing your content thoroughly loved it. So today and I mean literally today I received my learner's permit class a CDL. I am going to work for coastal out of Tampa get my twic card to be able to enter the ports and flatbed. Once I pay back the cost of my schooling I will already have had my authority and Dot information up and running and building my business credit for the purpose to start off with hopefully one to three trucks power only and do intermodal. I see that there's quite a bit of money in that niche. I had previously thought about having multiple yards at locations around the East Coast since I'm from the St Petersburg area. I'm going to reach out to you when that time frame gets closer in order to get your wise advice on how to structure a profitable business. Who knows you might be a member of the management team heck even a VP or or president of logistics. With that being said great content and I look forward to more thank you again. Luigi
