Can We Make Sword Art Online More Realistic? - An Interesting Inquiry
มุมมอง 73 ปีที่แล้ว
Is it possible to make SAO (The Game) more realistic? I believe so. In this video, I discuss how SAO could be changed to make it a more realistic game. By making it more realistic, the stakes for the game (and by extension the story) could be better. Feel free to discuss in the comment section. Just be respectful to one another. Adaptations: A Small Stance
มุมมอง 93 ปีที่แล้ว
Should adaptations be 100% faithful to the source material? Join me as we discuss this topic and deviate into a short bit on accuracy and a slight rant against Exodus: Gods and Kings. Why I chose to include Kung Fu Panda 2 in this discussion as well? Probably for the sake of comparison or because I like the film. Maybe both. :) Also, sorry if the voice over hurts your ears. Personally, I think ...

Dope vid my man🤙 Was looking for Historical American swords and was kinda bummed that a large majority of them were basic sabers. Then I happened upon your vid. Shame the original SOSC was stolen, the blade looked hella sick. Although I still dig the more refined look of the current one. I wish every state had a state sword, would have been nice to see the different designs each would come up with.

Dude, I think plate armor would work on the non-fully morphed werewolves. But I do agree with you. Play armor is good with them and no I don’t want their swords in their mouth that’s not good. I also think that you should seek more inspiration in these designs, werewolves caring, heavy swords, and bows and everything. And I also love how werewolves can also have mighty knight swords ⚔️

As promised, here are my brief thoughts on Santa Inc. (mainly the trailer). I saw the trailer for Santa Inc, and I’m not impressed. As far as I can tell, it’s looking to be a subpar comedy with little to no standards. And look, there’s nothing wrong with poking fun at the holidays. There are many things to criticize and make fun of. For instance, finding a parking space. You’re just going to buy something simple like milk or bread, but the lot is just full of shoppers buying this and that. It can be frustrating at times. What I'm not liking is the current buzz around this show. The web journals I've seen are already bashing the people that apparently left certain comments on the trailer. I don’t stand with these people. I never will stand with them. However, you probably know how this will turn out. It’s a recognizable pattern that’s plagued conversations for a long time now. The other side will spin this around and slap everybody (I mean everybody) who criticizes the show's plot/characters with certain labels. Essentially painting simple critics or those who have a thought or question with the same tar brush. Thanks, but I’ll pass. I aim to leave No Man’s Land before both sides start firing. Besides, there are others on this platform and elsewhere who are more knowledgable and skilled than I am, and I'm sure they can provide a better analysis of the show. I'm still working on developing my critical eye. My hope is to reach "longman" status one day, with videos that stretch much longer than this one. Someday but not today. I want to try and avoid politics and beliefs on this channel as much as possible, but that doesn’t mean it won’t pop up every now and then during a discussion. Often times media will lean a certain way or the meta surrounding a topic will be unavoidable. Also, again, I can’t eliminate all my biases. They’re bound to crop up in some way, shape, or form. (My adaptations video might be a good example. Being a Christian, I wasn't too fond of how the story of Moses was portrayed in Exodus: Gods and Kings. I tried to keep my bias in check, but I think I was a little heated. I apologize for that.) In addition to all of this, there may be times where I criticize individuals and their work (See my comment on OSP's video on Fridging). I might even criticize the morals of some people if I feel moved to do so (My meme video concerning Seth Rogen downplaying crime). However, I’m not perfect either. I will make mistakes, but I’ll do my best to assess myself and grow if the criticisms about me and my work are rational and justified. Sorry to get off topic, but I think I needed to say all of that so you can understand my intentions just a little bit better. I mean no one ill will, and I feel we can still grow and learn even if we are adults. However, somethings can get a little too hot for my tastes. I won’t be able to avoid the heat all the time, but I’d like to keep things as simple and straightforward as possible. That's why you won't hear me say anything else about Santa Inc. both now or in the future.
