Haha yes! I am a tuba player at the university of north Texas. I will be uploading more, I haven’t thought about writing longer pieces but I will!
Something tells me that a tuba can't go that high. Feels more like a Tuba-Euph Sextet. But great overall!
That’s what a Tuba sextet is lol. 2 Euphs, 2 Bass Tubas, 2 Contrabass tubas.
@@felixplaystuba6937 the score didn’t specify so I thought you wanted full tuba
I recommend changing the euphonium sound to the tuba muse sound, it makes it mix with the other instruments better. In this recording it sticks out a lot
I think I posted this before I knew the tuba had its range increased to C5

Yeah, seems like its only comfortable for an alto clef (alto trombone)
@@elividal9888 it only goes up to high f, granted that's like the highest tenor note, but still manageable.
My section got this, and I have to say: THANK YOU SO MUCH! Rhythms are a lot less intimidating now that I know what it’s supposed to sound like
