Well those tires that you got rid of were still YOUR tires. meaning you should take them home with you and put them in your trash can. You're paying us to get rid of it for you so you dont have 4 dirty tires in your backseat. And you do realize we get 100 tires a day at least and it cost money to have a semi come and take the tires from the building.

So, I don't work for that company. I do work for another company similar to the one you went to. The company that picks up the tires charge the shops to do so. What that company does with the tire after it is picked up has nothing to do with the tire shop.

You don't have to pay the tire disposal fee. You can always take them back home yourself. You could also take them to the same tire store and sell them yourself. You're paying them to "dispose" of your tires. That can mean selling them or recycling them.

Blud thinks discount tire makes money from recycling useless tires lmao. Bud, there are people out there that recycle, sell or both for a living. DT pays them to take away the tires and once that transaction is done. The “recycler” can do whatever he wants with the tires. If they wanna recycle he can or sell some decent looking tires for a profit they can. The other party (in which case DT) doesn’t get anything in return. If the recycler sold your tires for $30 a piece somewhere else. That’s his money, DT ain’t getting anything from that deal.
