Start with the balisong closed, holding it by the safe handle. 2. Perform a basic opening by swinging the bite handle away from your body, flipping the balisong open. 3. Once the balisong is fully opened, transition into a Chaplin by rotating the safe handle over the top of your index finger until it reaches a 180-degree rotation. 4. After completing the Chaplin, continue the motion by performing a Helix. Push the safe handle towards your body while simultaneously flipping the balisong with a wrist flick. This should create a full spin parallel to the ground. 5. As the Helix rotation completes, catch the bite handle with your free hand while the safe handle rotates around your thumb. 6. With the bite handle caught, rotate your wrist to flip the safe handle down, allowing the opening of the balisong to continue smoothly. 7. Now, perform a Y2K opening. By flicking your wrist, swing the safe handle back up, causing the bite handle to tuck into your palm while the safe handle completes a 180-degree rotation. 8.
