Music REALLY sucks!!!

Saw this movie on TV decades ago. It’s a youth film that was made right after the camp classic “Palm Springs Weekend”. I don’t know if this film attained the same status, but it’s a fun watch. I figured that it was obscure enough that it would be easy to find and watch. Not so.

The corvette #23 B production in the 3rd picture is my father's. The trailer was nicknamed the Queen Mary. The tall man in the hat standing with his back to the camera is my father. Our family was close friends with Donna Mae Mims. I last saw her in 1985 when I was moving from Pittsburgh to CT.

An interesting movie that had this car, other cars of that era, a jet engine powered drag car that was displayed, but not driven, a story of James Darren getting involved with a Land speed record car, and a Chrysler turbine engine experimental car that was driven at a road race... It was a time that anything seemed possible...

Lovely old car. The torque on these V12's has to be experienced to believed. Probably the best view along any bonnet !
