In it she travels to small flower farms throughout the country to find the best blooms in their peak season and then creates big-impact, interactive designs for events such as parades, art and music festivals, a professional treehouse reveal and even an underwater mermaid garden in the Florida Springs. She meets farmers, visual artists, communtiy connectors and creatives of all types along the way. She strives to connect flower lovers and their local growers in her hometown of Spokane Washington and wherever else the blooms may take her. Katie is always asking the question, "What else can we do with flowers?".
