This was my cheapest option at hand and the bosch ones have a little more capacity and you can just swap them instead of waiting until its fully charged swap and party on
Are you using the Bose 800 active equalizer with the speakers or did you just use a power amp? I dont have athe equalizer and was thinking of using them as stage monitors ( I have 4 speakers)
Yes this set is using the model 800 active eq but if you dont have the active eq you can look up the eq curve on google somewhere and recreate it on a another eq works the same
Yea, I just restored a pair of these for my garage/shop stereo. I don't have the eq but it sounds pretty good. I am using a small 8" powered subwoofer with it which I think handles any low end deficiencies
If you get the eq just right you dont need the og controller
they dont make em like they used to

Yes they are thats exactly why i have them setup like this only some bass is missing ofcourse so a subwoofer will be perfect
