This is because it wasn't Game Freak. It was produced by Genius Sonority. A company that new nothing about pokemon and did their best on it. To me personally, it's one of the best Pokemon games. And thanks to Colosseum, we now have Shadow Pokemon

the team galactic meatriding is real. aqua and magma are stupid and terrorists for wanting to change the world in a way they see as better, but team galactic is S tier for literally wanting to delete the universe. makes sense. team skull in S is peak tho.

My hope for Legends Z-A Starters; *Snivy *Piplup *Torchic Note: 2 out of 3 of my picks have some connections to actual French history through their designs and lore, those two being Snivy and Piplup. Empoleon resembling Emperor Neopleon and Serperor being a French Nobleperson.

This has already been theorized, assuming they're gonna put a pattern Z-A will probably have snivy and piplup + probably scorbunny. Snivy and piplup are obvious, their final evolutions contain obvious european/french inspiration with serperior's royal insignia and empoleon being based on napoleon the french conqueror. This only leaves the fire starter which can be decided by process of elimination. Gen 1 starters all have megas so unless they pull mega charizard Z it is not gonna be charizard. They already gave typhlosion a new forme in arceus so probably not them either. Blaziken already has a mega. For infernape and emboar, it's probably pretty unlikely for gamefreak to put 2 starters from the same generation in a row especially since they don't really fit in with french culture. They probably aren't gonna make fennekin a starter and will probably make it a wild pokemon like the sinnoh starters in arceus (they might still give them megas) And finally they probably won't use fuecoco because it's too recent. This only leaves litten and scorbunny as the only options, while mega incineroar is funny I think cinderace is probably gonna make the cut. Football (or soccer if you're american) is really big in france and there's not much tying incineroar to french culture. On top of that seeing a gen 8 pokemon get a mega is really cool because they existed on a time when megas were no longer in the games. Also if any of the modern fire starters get the gamefreak charizard treatment it is cinderace (it got added in pokemon unite before the other starters were added for a reason)
