@@bilaltariq2364 Hi there! Yes you press the pedal down again for every new chord. For a beginner I would suggest just pressing it at the same time as you play the chord. When you are more advanced, it's slightly more complicated. You hold the pedal down until the new chord is played. Then as soon as you have played the new chord you release the pedal and put it back down again. This joins the previous chord into the new chord: but means the old chord doesn't ring on into the new chord, because you release the pedal and place it back down as soon as you play the new chord. I wouldn't worry yourself about this yet. Just put the pedal down as you play each new chord for now. To be honest, the kind of technique I'm describing may develop over the years of playing. No one taught me to do it. I just found that I was doing it eventually.

@@PhilWarren Thanks Phil! this is one I know in theory thanks for confirming. Since i haven't trained proper pedalling, this currently feels like trying to to brush teeth with the wrong hand 😂

@@Valmatej Okay so I've been teaching music for 25 years now. Only 1 in 10,000 people have perfect pitch. I think over 25 years of teaching I've had about three people who would be bothered by this. Someone donated me this piano and one of my clients paid for it to be tuned. The piano tuner said he could come back again to finish the job but I'm happy with his as it. Before he tuned it, I couldn't actually pick out a melody because it was so out of tune 😂 So the only reason I'm doing these tutorials is because someone has donated me the piano and someone has paid for the tuner. I'm very grateful to these people.

@@A1an101 when I recorded this I was recording the sound and the video separately. When I went to edit the video for part 4 after recording it, I discovered that I had not had the microphone on.😩 So I couldn't do the edit. Also this was years ago now. I could try working it out again and doing it but I seem to remember It was quite a complicated song so it will take quite a bit of time. Are you still keen to see part 4?

Hi Phil, I'd be keen to see part 4 but understand it might be a lot of work and this was a relatively old tutorial now. I started learning from the first two parts without realising the 4 wasn't there..🤦🏼...
