Arrma 8s Outcast bent outdrive replacement with M2C

We replace our bent factory outdrives with M2C outdrives, which are 1mm shorter to prevent binding when jumping. While we have the truck apart, we replace the factory rear hubs with Vitavon hubs. Arrma FireTeam w/ Infraction body mounts

Off topic but is there any reason you couldn't run Felony rear tires on the front and rear of an Infraction?
I swapped front and rear diff to give me 3 to 1, I have a spare 50t center diff for more torque drifting and drag racing. Had to put 3 shims in the front one
One 4s pack, one 6s run and the stock tires are done lol.
Arrma made it simple just switch the pinions front and rear it will give you a ratio of 3 front and rear. Run the same size tires like GRP's problem solved
You are correct, swapping those gears will give you the same size tires. What I do is drift with the 107/100 setup. So my rear and center diff are spools.
What if we go same ratio front and rear and run GRP tires?
Switch pinion front rear will give you a ratio of 3 to 1
Great question! If you want to run the same size tires you can simply swap the front input gear with the rear input gear. Then they will be the same ratio. Cheers!

What if i use a GP5 in the rear and instead of a GP6 and leave everything in the front the same, would that work?
You need a 15t input gear (ARA311016) as well as the front diff (part number ARA311023) in the rear. Check Arrma official forums for the exact how to. I'm waiting for my new diff and 15t input gear in the mail right now I'd leave the front input gear the same.
What is the link for the body post to mount the infraction body on a fireteam?
Great video, Definity helped me figure out the gearing issue I was having. I recently bought my son the felony and an infraction for me. I liked the bigger rear tires on my son's car and wanted to put those on mine. I just ordered the correct gearing for the rear and the front pinion's for both to complete this mod:) thanks for the deep dive!
I find it interesting arrma doesn't make a 14T GP5 (gear profile) pinion. So I hoping no big issues come up from using the GP6 pinion with the GP5 spur/ring gear? I guess time will tell. Thanks again for the video

Does this include changing the Differential Oils or are you running stock ? I just got a New Arrma Felony and unfortunately it’s my first big RC purchase and I haven’t even tried it yet . I just recently purchased different type of differential oil that I would like to try. Maybe you can steer me in the right direction . I’m not looking to beat myself over speed runs . More of a drift and bashing . What I bought was 10/500/60 (F.C.R) do you recommend this for drifting and bashing ? Please and thank you for sharing your opinion.
Also I thought it was recommended to not use the 27 pinion unless it was for strictly speed runs . I’m just totally confused and don’t want to mess anything up .
