Green Run Collegiate (GRC), a public charter school, opened in September 2013 with a focus on college readiness. The curriculum is based on the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy and best practices with the support of Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID). IB is recognized worldwide for offering quality international education programs designed to empower students for college and career readiness. AVID puts into place many of the support systems that will help students prepare for the demands the college experience will place on them.
