Giada is a card I was not expecting to get a reprint, but I'm glad Angels will always have a reliable commander in the format

Had some well-navigated games there, that Djero & Hazoret was a tough cookie! I read an interesting post in one of the various Brawl subreddits, about how they botched weights of the Foundations reprint commanders: whatever queue they set them for Standard Brawl, they REset them in Historic. So I've been terrorizing the jank queue with my Ghalta 🤣 Prolly worth a test to see where Giada is in Historic Brawl!

Flashy decks are fun to play but very annoying to deal with, but this is a nice option for Azorius if you're not super Controlly.

A flash commander backed up by a handful of countermagic/flash creatures, yeah, not surprised by some of the early concessions 🤣 I wonder if there are enough Adventure or Fuse or modal spells where some aspect is "Instant" so you can cheat crazy stuff into play via the Rebound gimmick of Ojer Pakpatiq!

"Relwin, when you get to hell, tell em Mr Pisto sent ya" 🤣 Very strong commander and had some fun games in there! The play pattern is like a combo between Ajani, Strength of the Pride "lifegain" and Torgaar, Famine Incarnate "nickle-and-diming life drain pings'. You can get some crazy swing when you have your trigger doubling cards in play! Also, per the engagement chat we were having on stream, the first thing I'm thinking is that the dropoff can't be uncommon. TH-cam viewers have attention spans of gnats, so I wouldn't read too much into the dipping charts. Secondly, I'd snoop around to see if there's any content already on yt that addresses engagement, things we're doing or not doing to hold onto viewers. Could be some easy fixes to try out there!

Zoraline is a very fun Commander, I love life draining with a million triggers when it pops off

Lots of wild cards in there, plus the wild cards you get just from opening packs! There were some interesting commanders in there, potentially. I wonder if there's enough convoke/Survivors to make an Effie, Fast Learner Historic Brawl deck work. It would be pretty one dimensional though 😆

Cats look like fun, shame we don't have that many in Standard Brawl in Mono White, but I guess we can try to make it Selesnya, there are two legendary Cats from LCI that work with +1+1 synergies.

If the aetherhub meta breakdown is to be believed, Eluge is the most popular commander in Standard Brawl. I only get paired with it when I use your Fynn deck, so I'm pretty sure they're all in the hell queue together. But that said, I've never ever seen Eluge do anything other than spin its wheels, waste both players' time, and concede 🤣Aggro punishing mono-U is a tale as old as time!

Some good games in there, really showcases the good spells Rakdos has to offer. Even managed to cast our commander that one time! 🤣

Rakdos has some fun options for Aggro commanders, there's Cruelclaw with it's gimmicky style, but you can also go with the Outlaws or Lizards theme and it's always fun.

Have you thought about General Kreat as the commander instead of Krenko?

Quality wins in there! I like how there's a decent selection of gobbos in Standard so there may be an option for a budget build that gets you away from the hell queue, we can experiment to tease out where the border lines are 😆

I think Ghalta might be the commander I have the most reps in on Arena (Ajani, Strength of the Pride miiiiight have more), so I'm super duper stoked she's back in Standard! The deck is really close imo, just needs a few more pieces to put it over the top! GGs!! 😆 Edit: I also think the full flunge in the Bonny Pall game was lethal over 1: they put the 10/10 token on Ghalta, City Leveler on Defiler (which I need to add to my list, this game convinced me), Bonny on the Contaminator, and the 3/4 on the Curator. two 4/4s and a 3/5 get through for 11, then Ghalta and Contaminator trample over for 4 👍

Wild to see a deck tech saying we are playing Brigi for the backside, knowing what we know today lol. I dont think I've ever seen the horn cast in any circumstances.

Welcome back! Got a couple good wins there, too. One of my favorite things to do in reanimator decks like these is get a Burning-Rune Demon onto the board (by casting or reanimating) and then searching up two cards that can reanimate each other, so it doesn't matter which card the OP picks 😁 In my Darigaaz Reincarnated Brawl deck, it's Young Necromancer and Olivia, Crimson Bride. But you can get the same effect in just black with Young Necro and something like Nullpriest of Oblivion. Good games!

Question, if Obyra and panharmonicon are on the battlefield, would a faerie entering the battlefield would case the opponents to lose 2 life?

I think it would be much better if you just click on the "Collection" button at the bottom left after you clicked "Decks". Everything else the same and you don't have the deck sidebar taking up space on the side.

Graaz is actually crazy if you can run any amount of 0 cost or 1 cost creatures. Instant 5/3's and if you include geode golemn or others that cheat him out for less he slaps harder. Not great, but still doable. Far better in commander though.

But how do you find cards that were played against you but do not show up in any search with only collected and not collected selected and in historic format?? Trying to build a squirrel deck and I can't access half the squirrel cards like chitterspitter, chatter of the squirrel, and scurry oak....

Why "Shadow of Mortality" isn't in the deck? It can deal 15 dmg sacrificing it.

Interesting that the new Aftermath commander got tossed into the Toxrill bracket. I wonder if the angel-centric build would change the pairings? 🤔

Not the biggest Dimir fan, but this deck looks pretty fun. Our commander is also an Oni fighting alongside a spirit dragon, it can't get much cooler than this

This worked out really well! And I like the changes you made from the initial Patreon list: I'm sure once you started playing games and you knew where H&K settled in the meta some tweaks were needed to make it a little more mid-rangey. The deck can win with UB value or the reanimation engine once you get that going too, so that was great to see. I also like how it breaks up the samey-ness of Standard Brawl, there aren't really any decks doing what this one is doing, and has several cards you wouldn't expect to see. Whenever I play the format, I see the colors my OP is playing, and I can name 30 cards that are autoincludes, so this is pretty refreshing!

This is a fun idea, and just leaping into whatever you get from the pack adds to a sense of discovery. Plus, considering you built the deck in 10 minutes takes the pressure off so it's not an exercise in sweatiness 😂

That win against Jodah was just so perfect 👌 Rakdos Aggro is always so much fun, games tend to be very intense

As I've found with our Torgaar list in Historic Brawl, sacrifice decks can get super mathy, as you're kinda locked into nickel and diming OPs until they're low enough to be slain with one cruel blow. For that reason, I like evasive creatures, ones with menace or flying or can't be blocked, which your list takes advantage of. And probably my most-drafted common from NEO (Clawing Torment) could find a home here too, as it neatly gets rid of a blocker and does DOT to help close out games!

What an outrageous grind! 😂 While testing the deck, were all the games marathons like the ones that made the video? These new praetors have definitely added a extra dimension to Standard Brawl. I will say, if you're playing mono-W, an auto-include is Destroy Evil. There were no shortage of targets in every game you played. GGs!
