Exactly, especially if there isn't that mich bike traffic it really would work to just let the bikes lane filter or use the shoulder and then maybe pit the bike lane back after it's past the congested area, plus people in traffic just end up using the bike lane anyway like idiots in order to get around people.

I agree let them go between cars, same with motorcycles. Otherwise it’s just a waste of space and inefficient
