You can tell the difference of the pitch between both trains even though they have the same motor. C751B has some sort of a "howling-crying" and low-pitched type of IGBT VVVF motor. C151A sounds high-pitched.

Old one more iconic, they should keep that since changing really does nothing such as improving train reliability.

Tbh i prefer the older one. The newer one is nice but it ts long. Plus i feel a sense of nostalgia hearing the old chime. It resembles the even older chime. The old chime is also iconic among singaporeans
