      @FollowtheFuso 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Jason and Fiona.. thanks for watching our vids.. If I had my time over, I'd probably build something myself. Not that we don't love our truck, just that we would do things with the layout to better suit our full time living. Things like a larger bathroom, more bench space etc. We have had no major issues whatsoever, lots of smaller annoyances, but no "showstoppers" at all. We would 100% pick the Fuso again. We still much prefer it over the Isuzu which we feel doesn't suit the lines of GX properly. Our fuel economy is also excellent and have had zero issues with the truck. It's been great, slowish, but great 🤣.. Thanks again for following our Fuso.. we hope to continue our videos once I'm done with work up north.

    As an interstate driver for many years I have unfortunately hit many, many roo's. Hate it every time as they are beautiful creatures and I empathise with how you feel. It's interesting the aircon condensor was so susceptible to damage given the lift and accessories. Perhaps the manufacturer can look at a protection plate to cover this as a vulnerable item.

      @@FollowtheFuso Thanks for the reply super helpful. Does AAV install the deadener in the doors, ceiling and wall behind the seats too or just the cab floor? Also did you put more under the cab because the floor was getting hot from the motor or more for just sound?

    • @FollowtheFuso
      @FollowtheFuso 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      AAV only install deadener on the floor unfortunately. We did the under cab deadener for both heat and sound. I'm sure deadener on doors and roof would help but not 100% required as it's not super loud in there as our old Troopcarrier was which we fully deadened which helped a lot. I'm sure it would only improve things in the cab if you completely lined it but we've not found it necessary. Maybe we're just going deaf 🤣

    Hi Guys, I think I've watched this vid 3 or 4 times now and can't wait for your "2-year anniversary / lived in review" that you've mentioned you'd like to do. Noting you've had a bit going on recently, so we are happy to wait (sorry to hear about Kozmo😥). But when you're up for it I'm sure there would be a lot of people that would be interested. So before then can I ask....is there anything you had fitted from AAV that you don't feel you've needed.....and on the other hand was there something (besides the seats 🤣😆🤣) that you feel you might have liked fitted from the outset. Thanks again for sharing your adventures. 👍👍 Regards Geoff Rey.

    • @FollowtheFuso
      @FollowtheFuso 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Geoff Two year living in the truck is fast approaching and we will 100% do a video. The good and the bad. No, there is nothing we had fitted that we have not used and nothing we wish we had fitted. I'm particularly happy I fitted my preferred batteries as the batteries AAV supply do not have Bluetooth monitoring which in my opinion is a must. Whilst the Victron gauge has been good, it can drift a little, so having direct access to the battery BMS is invaluable seeing we are heavy power users. There are also quite a few things we wished they did offer but don't and these will all be covered in the 2 year review and update video.
