I think I posted in an earlier vid. Use Permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker 51813/Loctite 518/574 for the steel flange sections. This will seal the best here for alloy to alloy. Just wait the time for it to set up, but it will seal the best. Alternatively, use the Grey 'The right stuff', but it will be an arse pain to remove compared to the red liquid which just scrapes off. It also fills up to 0.25mm.

I saw that Harrop have a heavy duty tensioner available for the LS. If you haven’t sorted that tensioner, maybe modifying that harrop one is an option??? Love watching your content.

Besides the saggy roof lining causing the voltage issue, is it possible that you’re spinning the alternator too fast?

Do you need to fix your hood lining in the Commodore?

how thick is your battery pos wire? i use to have issues on dragcar had to run a big one used earth strap wire off a welder cheaper and thick

Looks like Mace are using the Felpro type gasket which is slightly better than the AC Delco ones you used before. Just don't use any sealant on them. The rubber needs to flatten and fill all the uneven surfaces. And instead of using the end pieces, use Grey type sealant and run a thick bead on both ends like the LS1 or older Chevy engines. Especially for boost. The grey types like Ultra Grey etc are best for engine assembly and higher pressures. For in between your flat surfaces, the red liquid Anaerobic gasket maker are amazing, especially for clean up on removal.

Where is the Haltech getting the voltage reading from? Looking at your data your voltage drops from 14 to low 12's and then continues to drop, to me this looks like the alternator has stopped charging and you are only running off battery voltage at that point. So either there is a issue with the alternator exciter circuit or how that circuit is controlled. Could a safety setting in the Haltech cause this? The engine block is the main ground reference point, your battery to chassis ground needs to be the same size as the power feed wire and matching ground cable from the block to the chassis.
