RE4 has a very special place in my heart. I was 15 when the game came out. My grand mother died and soon, my parents were getting a divorce. It was a sad time of my life, as my world was crumbling. But this game was here, even if I could only play it on Wednesdays afternoons. It was the perfect age to discover the unsettling horror of this game : the ganados and their rotting village, the first contact with las plagas, the castle and his deadly traps, and facing the regeneradores will probably be the scariest time of my gaming life facing those, filled with hopelessness. You're alone and frightened by the horror of everything around you, but you can act, fight, go forward, outsmart your enemies with your weapons and skills. And some people along the way can help you upgrade those. And even if it's hard and getting harder and harder, you can still try and try and retry until you succeed. This game isn't just a great game. It's a life lesson too. Thank you Capcom. I'll remember forever this game.

This song is special to me, whenever I was a kid playing this game, I would go to the merchant area near el gigante and hear this. This song is so comforting, like the comfort of a friend After a bad event, in fact, the merchant himself gives this idea of a friend.
