My name is Owen. I'm from Orange County, California. My music project is called Light Widening and my music is streaming on all platforms. I have an archive of 106 unpolished songs on bandcamp under the title "Hyper-Tragedy Lo-Fi Archive" as well as some other songs there that aren't on streaming.
A unique claim to fame is I have an indie horror themed studio album that is unlike anything else out there called "A Halloween Album"

This sounds so good!!! I have to intro riff thing figured out but I can’t quite figure out what is being plucked during the verses. Is it the same plucking pattern as the intro just over the chord progression instead? Or did you kinda just wing it?
I winged it. It's a little more straightforward picking the way i play it in the verses. It's slightly different than the lead because you're focusing on the melody there. I just watch some videos of it being live to get the gist.

No I pieced it by watching a number of different people play it. The tuning is a whole step down then another half step so the E would be C# (i think. may have been two hole steps)

Yeah the walk idea definitely came from 2:45 by Elliott. Hopefully not too close but on the boarder. Just realized today that the sun setting and never coming back up was an idea I used in a 2011 song and it had a suitcase line. Got me musing about 13 yr cycles.
