I absolutely loved this series and the novellas. I started these at a difficult time in my life and they helped pull me inside the awesome world that Peter created.

I liked the painted man and the first cycle. But I will no longer buy bretts books. He advocates rape as a necessary evil to be accepted and even has lela o.k. the rape and forced impregnation of innocent women. NOT ACCEPTABLE They are only stories but he gets too political, especially when the islamic imams(or whatever they are called) told them to get western women pregnant by rape. He basically said it is alright for islamics to rape christians. Bet he hates the Yazidi people. He is an asswipe in my opinion. Too bad, his first demon cycle book was AWESOME!

Advice to current and future Psychology students. Master statistics and concentrate on psychology who has at least some grounds in biology and stay on the side of the biology. Clinical is also a good choice at least it used to be. Basically, as long as your psychology degree is with actual science you will be good. Due to that fact that nowadays Social Justice crap has infiltrated into many disciplines and morphing people into Whiney, Safe space needy, Victimhood human beings. Some may not believe that, but biology is real! We are different from each other, some more intellectual than others, some more aggressive than others, more competing and hard working. Most importantly, no one owes you anything.
